    Erena is 666. Devil child?

    Also, Kuramochi is 911! Emergency!

    Natsumii- "I am happy you are".... huh?

    I like that instead of making a shirt supporting herself, Amina made a shirt supporting all of new Team B.

    I think the girls choose their own number. A few of them have #48 :)
    17 = Miichan's age,
    911 = Mocchi's birthday,
    etc, etc.

    There's gotta be some other meaning behind Erepyon's, haha.

    The shirts look pretty good except of the 3 digit numbers, I find it a bit weird cause normally sport jerseys only have single or double digit numbers and not 3. Might get one cause didn't get the previous blt shirt when it came out. I think Rabutan number is her current age, 15 years old and 5 months if you count her age as of May. I don't get what Harukyan's 86 is cause its not her bday, also what does Mayuyu shirt's Yabyaa mean.

    That's a play on numbers / words.
    373 = Mi na mi
    It's called goroawase.
    Most people probably know 39 = san kyu = "thank you"
    possible others:
    08 = o ya
    210 = ni tou
    310 = sa tou
    017 = re i na
    723 = na tsu mi
    and so on...

    2 probably because it sounds kind of like "chiyuu"

    and tanabe miku could be 39 because 3 9= mi ku

    or it could be the thank you thing, but I think it's meant to be miku, because she wrote "tanabe" above it on the back, so that would make her whole name

    (B.L.T collaboration shirts discussion might needs it's own thread)
    on that note, it looks like umechan's no. (13) might be related to her bday january 3. (could be wrong though, but a good guess i think [hehe] )

    Re: [SINGLE] AKB48 - [Ponytail to Shushu] - 2010/05/26

    ^ I agree.
    Until then, here's some more (theories):

    Ono:
    Anyone remember that manga about the jellyfish she drew for the ... what was it ...Shukan DVD magazine? Since that's on the front of her shirt and her "name" is Kurage (=jellyfish), could 666 be related to that? What sound did she use for it? I can't check the video now.
    Because I somewhat doubt she knows the meaning this number can have.

    Matsubara:
    I think, because Happy is written slightly below the others, that she simply means "I am happy. You are happy." (or the other way around, depending on where you start reading). Her number is her birthday.

    Asuka:
    The emergency phone number in Japan is 119, not 911. As has been said, it's her (and Maimai's) birthday.

    34 = Sa shi
    Also :D @ "Sashihara Quality"

    I also think that 39 indeed does mean Miku in this case.

    Some more birthdays:
    Sae (August 13th)
    Nakatsuka (June 18th)
    Yukirin (July 15th)
    Chikano (April 23rd)
    Mariko (March 11th)
    Acchan (July 10th)

    Crap, we need bigger pictures. Looks like Akicha wrote an essay on the front of hers.

    i do not know why adidas did not collabrate with aki-p to have a limited edition adidas-akb48 jersey to celebrate the world cup

    btw, i went to the blt website saw the girls wearing japan soccer kit and mariko looks hot by wearing the goalkeeper kit, it is just too bad that the girls did not wear the techfit version

    Personally I'm happy that they don't collaborate with a large sportswear company. We'd end up paying about twice as much, just to have a little logo and some stripes there - and I still wouldn't be able to wear it. [wonder]

    So, about that ponytail song... [angel]
    it would've been better with Asuka

    Yay, these t-shirts look sexy. And Sayaka wearing a football (soccer) shirt is too sexy to NOT buy it.

    The only thing that pisses me off is the size of the t-shirts. They're HUGE. They should have different sizes as the concert t-shirts. :cry:
