that song is super hard to sing and need much power to slay that song
knowing that Yuihan voice is kinda soft one Im worried she cant pulled the high notes tho

True Colors, Chandelier and the Christmas song in the end were sung in English.

 

Yui definitely fine with chorus part of the song, however, I admit that it would need power to kill it ,high pitch voice not enough
Other then Chorus, I'm really want to see how they secure this song . It's hard to maintain the note. (and the accent too)

I'm actually find this kouhaku is interesting well mostly because the cover song , and I sad yanee didn't join the english cover song group, can't wait to see the chandelier

 

True Colors, as in the Cyndi Lauper song? I mean I can rationalize the others. Chandelier is a big recent hit, Happy Christmas is a classic Christmas song, and Les Mis is arguably the biggest stage musical of all time. Cyndi Lauper though?

Based on the setlist and the reports I have read, kinda disappointed that there was lack of shuffle units we used to see the previous Kouhaku, however, every single song was performed LIVE with live band and there even an unplugged session so I quite excited to watch the show next January Oh, not to mention, the covers and ENGLISH SONGS or ENGRISH...
Cant wait to finally be able to watch this year Kouhaku .... next year

I am glad that we are seeing collab with other groups/artists. A little weary about the English covera but i’ll just fast forwards through it then.

 

I just noticed Jurina and Yunana got to sing Nagori Yuki (which I LOVE) so I’ll be looking for that one performance ;;;

Wow, those collabs are a surprise, they actually did something different from the usual. It's pretty nice for them to perform together, esp since a lot groups' fans dislike 48g in a petty way (mostly H!P wota)
The solos sound really interesting also.
Looking forward to the rebroadcast of this~

 

Ok. Happy XMas (War is Over) is my favourite Christmas song, glad that they chose it instead of the usual generic Christmas anthem.

Also, Emiri Miyamoto in AKB event is something I never imagined even in my wildest thought lol.

I think the setlist is nice. The English song covers are actually interesting. Y'all complaining about collab setting a perception that "AKB is ovveerrr!!!!111!" while I'm here wondering how much budget they used. Prepare yourself for low budget MV for next single guys.
