Album AKB48 10th [Nantettatte AKB48] (2024/12/25)

A senbatsu album is still senbatsu.
I don't think either Orin or Saho would be chosen for any single senbatsu until their graduation so as a 16ki fan I'm satisfied with this senbatsu. It's a one and only chance for them and I'm sure next single they will be replaced with a younger and newer girl, probably Sae and Itomomo.
The 2-shot event for this alb will end in January, so the 65th single might be in February or March. By that time 18ki might be promoted and Azu can be the next center.
Don't forget AkiP has to write a whole stage by December so a cover album makes sense right now. We all know that person can't complete a full album and a full stage all at once. I prefer quality to quantity.

It would be nice if the album included MV s for these cover songs. The limited/ regular editions would be worth getting

 

Which Keyaki song do we think they are going to cover? Fukyowoan or Silent Majority?

Just can they cover songs which are not from Universal ?

 

Pink I’m 95 % sure to be Suki to Iwasetai. I’m not an izone lover but they were both a Japanese and Korean group and it’s a song they could easily get access to.

Also one of them is Sailor Fuku o Nugasanai de. Narumi is wearing the sailor shirt from this old akb performance not to mention the fact that Onyanko club was AKI-P’s first group

i dont think it will be something that other users have said. its going to be an non idol songs thats going to be covered in “idol musical” manners. like OKL48’s “Eien Yori Tsuzuku You ni” which was originally somebody elses song

i always tought its a good song to begin with, but even more fun when it was AKB-fied. always thought too that they should had covered more songs and made it akb style. seems like my wish is finally granted . this is one of those time when i really wish aki-p’s involvement since he knows j pops and what sells for sure.

 

The announcement (from https://ameblo.jp/akihabara48/entry-12870203859.html) seems to indicate that they will cover idol songs from the Showa, Heiei & Reiwa eras.

My comments about the numbers:

• Aichan, Yuna, Azu solidify their upcoming ACE positions. The number proves management's attempt to push them were right
• Erichan's position is pretty stable now I guess, number 3 of 17ki
• Surprisingly Mizumin is slowing down and Sorara is doing so much better. Maybe max slot was too much for Sorara, DH pushed her to the max slot too soon. Well at the end of the day I believe these two are the only candidates for number 2 of 17ki. Mizumin is a fan favourite while Sorara gets management's favour.
• Another surprising "low" number is Manaka. I thought with the senbatsu drop her fan might be frustrated and buy more HS

 

Apparently AKB48 will be performing Renai Revolution 21 with ex-MoMusu Maki Goto on TV Tokyo Music Festival (November 20). Pretty good sign that Renai Revolution 21 could be one of the tracks on this upcoming album.
