If it's all 100% true, I wonder why they're switching labels. Perhaps they were dropped from their label? I wouldn't understand why though because they're single sales are great for an Idol group.
Maybe disagreement within the label or something.

If it's true, I'M SO HAPPY THEY'RE GETTING A NEW SINGLE. I wonder if it's coming from K4/B3 or possibly A5? Or even a single not in the stages.

 

it's true. it was announced during the concert tonight. they will have a new single on october, under a different label.

It was handed out at the exit at the end of the concert.

Yay! A new single! I hope that the new record label is a good thing for us fans. And I hope we'll know more information soon, even though we still have to wait two months.

Anyone else think that reason that they're not on DefStar anymore is because the label dropped them to save face, after the whole Sakura no Hanabiratachi 2008 poster scandal thing?

And yes, this is a label company so the single must be released as a normal one. A label company is supposed to have more resources than AKB by itself. See? There was a reason why they were releasing this crazy stuff before.


About the difference between both discs:

One is a conventional release (for the ones who were already ranting, LOL) whose first press includes a handshake event.
The other one is a theater release that includes a handshake event.

 

Now that's something i'm unaware of. What's the scandal about?
