... listening to it now though, my order on my playlist:
1) Boku dake no value (Under Girls)
2) Nakeru Basho (Team Diva) & Kimi no Tsuite (Team Mint) [Draw]
3) Beginner
*yeah i'm probably minority with Beginner as my last on the list (same happened with HebiRota) but Boku dake no value is just too awesome for me, it's too catchy, upbeat and very fun to listen even if this single/PV didn't have my faves in it, IMO the best song in this single

I can't wait to hear the world single chart on "40 Principales" (Spain's most important radio) and I'll be shocked if they put "Beginner". The last week they put an Arashi's single!

I love Arashi, but I'm so happy for AKB48!!!!!

I've been following these girls for only a few weeks now, but I'm really impressed with them. They really deserve the attention and with sales figures like that, it's only going to strengthen my belief in how amazing the group really is. I bet the girls themselves are really happy for the first day sales number and as surprised as we all are.

I really hope he does. JE looks like it's slacking off lately. I hope a little competition will make it interesting and fun as it used to be again.

I laugh at the butthurt Arashi fandom. I can understand foreign Jpop fans who *believe* AKB's only selling point is fanservice etc. But those who say "it's only because wotas buy a gazillion copies each AND THAT'S A FACT U___U", they really really really piss me off. XD;

LOL. There's also the "WELL THEY HAD LIKE 4 EDITIONS FFS WHATD U EXPECT?" argument coming up which I explained why I feel that holds no water a few pages. 4 editions =/= big sales, popularity does.

Besides, it's techinically only two editions since the only difference between the two Type A's and Type B's were the LE covers, photos + handshake event tickets which sold out in preorder so it's back down to the two regulars. If that makes the people that think they aren't playing fair feel any better.

Oh god, I totally agree! IMO, Wotas are a small percentage of the actual fanbase for most idol groups. It's just the fact that their the most prominent and they stand out more, I think that's where the confusion comes from.

Woot! Congratulations AKB48! I'm a little sleep-deprived right now so I'm not sure if I'm reading those numbers right but breaking a JE's record is pretty impressive. Maybe now JE and AKS will come together for a super-collaboration to destroy the charts?
