Often? None of you caught that? And it was someone’s prediction. They could choose to not include Sayanee, Sasshi, and Annin.

I think we've only seen Annin refusing back in BwT?
    Did Milky as well?

    But yeah, hopefully they'll decline.
That would given like... 6 months of AKB-holidays.
At least when it comes to TV performances. :^^;:

    Yeah lol

I'm predicting Oguri / Nana center, but would love a Sakura center. No double center please. It's likely they'll want to promote a new-gen AKB member or add onto Nana's push, but really, my problem isn't with the center whatsoever (Though I still think it's too early for Yuiyui to become center), I just want a GOOD SONG for once. Just please...

This should be a YuiYui solo-center, because they've been "subtly" (yeah, right. but you know what i mean) pushing her, and a big "surprise" push on top of that will really bring up the hype for SSK. She's in a similar position to Mion two years ago, except she does even better in HS and she's younger than Mion. IMO, she just checks all the boxes for AKB's next ace.

Senbatsu most likely will be big again. Maybe 32-nin, but I highly doubt 35 again. Yamauchi Mizuki and Kubo Satone are almost certain to be in. Annin is probably still in this senbatsu, but I think it'll be her last. My prediction:
AKB: Iriyama Anna, Kato Rena, Mukaichi Mion, Yokoyama Yui, Kojima Mako, Komiyama Haruka, Kashiwagi Yuki, Okada Nana, Okabe Rin, Oguri Yui, Kuranoo Narumi, Kubo Satone, Yamauchi Mizuki, Sakaguchi Nagisa
SKE: Matsui Jurina, Obata Yuna, Suda Akari, Suenaga Oka
NMB: Yamamoto Sayaka, Shiroma Miru, Ota Yuuri, Yamamoto Ayaka, Yoshida Akari
HKT: Sashihara Rino, Miyawaki Sakura, Matsuoka Hana, Tanaka Miku, Yabuki Nako
NGT: Ogino Yuko, Nakai Rika, Honma Hinata
    STU: Takino Yumiko
    OUT: Murayama Yuiri, Macharin

Not likely, but not entirely unlikely?
It’s happened before, and this single is tied with the SSK.

Imagine them going onto Music Station:
MC: Sasshi, you’re not running this year, right?
    Sasshi: Sou desu!
MC: Well, AKB with their new single “Natsu no tiara”!

    And cut.

Again, they’re gonna be doing the HS, so the sales stay there.

I still don't understand why everyone really hate Sakura and whining while management gave her a reward (ofcourse for her successful SSK & HS sales). All Sakura's mega-push from the start are no more than the rewards for her hardworks. She's not HKT ace, but she ranked in SSK for her first applying so management gave her "back-row" UZA's senbatsu. After that she never be media senbatsu until she make it to senbatsu and got w-center in next single. She only be the real-center after she made it to kami-7.

In the otherhand, Jurina was centering Oogoe Diamond 10 years agi while she's nothing more than a 11 years old girl with trap in 20 years old woman's body. She consisted in the front-line afterthat even she just got 19 in the first SSK (event she was less popular than a "nothing" girl like Amina). She keeps her front-line position (until now) in two groups and be SKE's absolute center (and AKB's co-center). Silly if people is still whining for Sakura while they're forgive the thing for Jurina.

    Hope: Sakura center
Prediction: Yuiyui double center with Miion

AKB needs an ace right now and Yuiyui seems to have the potential of developing into one. She and Okada Nana could become the new face of AKB with some clever management decisions.

Still don't like Yuiyui personally tho but AKB clearly needs her.

IMO Sakura is underpushed currently for the status she has, it's wasting her potential. Girl even made a gaming YouTube channel lol. Pushing her further is an easy win/win decision for her and the management.

They are just announcing the senbatsu.
Plus, they used to perform these singles in the spring concert anyway (Manatsu during SSA in 2012, etc).

Nothing will top them announcing Kimi no Melody 6 days after Kuchibiru, with the release FOUR months away lol

@ForrestFuller, I doubt Sayaya would be media senbatsu at this point.

Usually, I'm not excited with senbatsu"s", since they're pretty much the same. But in this case in particular I'm interested to know what they're going to do with eitos. It's the first single with the new teams. Will they consider them part of AKB4 and thus picking members from each team considering that or will they just keep the 3/4 Team 8 member quota?

Maybe 52-nin senbatsu will work well. With 26 media-senbatsu and 6 centers, it's amazing!
