SR isn't really suited for such kind of broadcast though. I think they'll stick with their backstage stream which was extremely popular anyway (honestly last year so many people watched just that + Sayanee's).

 

Currently ex BNK48 member Jan is broadcasting in Showroom and she has more than 5000 viewers.
BNK48 members are using the VOOV app to broacast, which is a terrible app, and also is not availabe globally (at least not in ios).
Can you imagine if Cherprang or Music (who can speak Japanese) had a showroom?
It would have helped them so much in getting votes from Japan...

 

AKB will not go back to streaming the SSK on YT anytime soon. The Chinese contribute to a fairly large portion of the votes and having the SSK streamed on YT is as useless to them as management trying to push Hana as the next big HKT thing.

What if Cher does so well at SSK (like undergirls or maybe senbatsu even) and she becomes a regular representation like other sister groups in AKB singles?

ohhhhh, this is good theory but cher is a college student majoring in chemistry and as far as i know she likes doing it. does she can take it going to japan then back to bangkok? also her tight schedule in BNK as their captain and as a artist?. after all, i just want my oshi to have a good health.

You can make the argument that 'World' is indeed the correct word since it includes members from all affiliated sister groups worldwide.
And since the two mexican members aren't participating, that implicitly limits it to Asia

It depends on how you interpret the title.
Does 'World' mean that everybody and their mom is allowed to vote in it? (Technically not wrong. You pay a premium though, but this has always been the case and there always have been ways around it)
Does 'World' mean that every group member on this very planet is allowed to take part?

And all the foreign sister groups are in Asia. (Not counting snh and affilieted of course)

 

From what I heard she can now barely manages her time between study and work. My friend told me in Thailand you could see BNK in literally everything now and Cherprang is going places. (They just struck a deal with stationary brand too I think) And if you strives towards excellence in everything you do like her, last year in college must be a pain. But she seems like she’s really really into 48G stuff (or maybe just Sayanee & Naachan lol) and Japan in general so she might take every chance they give her.

 

On the other hand she'll be graduated from college in a few months. And she's already been to Japan for BNK activities a few times.

Yea, 12000 vote each for Cherprang annd Music.
Realistically 90th something rank.
But I’d like to be proven wrong though. Just want to see something interesting in election dynamics.

I doubt they are doin it for the money. They're doin it for branding in Japan, esp by making headlines in media.. thou it didn't work as well as expected.
