Album AKB48 9th [Bokutachi wa, ano hi no yoake wo shitteiru] (2018/01/24)

Just looking again at the link which @ForrestFuller posted, it would seem that some slots will involve a 'Yori' or close-up photo while others will have a 'Hiki' or full-body shot. For example, Sakura seems to have her first two slots as 'Hiki' while the other four are 'Yori'. I'd guess that 'Yori' would be the more popular?

Also it looks like the Cheki lottery will be in place again but it seems that winner have a choice of either the signed photo or a short video. There'll also be the CD jacket signing as with last time.

 

The sample shot images show the size of the close-up photo and then the full body one -- but what's the third photo signify where they're facing each other.
And how does the short video work if they've done it before -- which I assume they have?

I hope there'll be songs for teams of AKB48 on this album. No newer songs for teams of AKB48 since Tsubasa wa Iranai.

I don't remember first round of the other album but I think these results are good for a first round. But as always AKB members don't sell so much ;_; I hope they'll sell more in the next rounds!

I wondered if the HKT48 1st album 2-shots might have affected sales for that group's members. Indeed Sakura's sold-out slots have fallen by one-third (and I managed to win both of her slots which I applied for) but Sasshi's sales appear to have increased since last time, so who knows!

 

73/3,836 for last album first round.

 

Actually I hope for people who want to buy 2s with HKT48 members, better to buy 2s for HKT48 album instead. HKT48 album has poor 2s sales. I believe HKT48 members will understand if their booths on AKB48 2s events has less crowd than HKT48 2s events. Except Sakura.

Best AKB seller is from Team8, really makes you think.

 

Gotta give commendation to NMB. 2nd round and they got some young guns on the list. Though not sure if it's a good thing with NMB single on the horizon...

 

Just realized that this AKB48 album is cheaper than HKT48 album. That's why people would buy 2s with HKT48 members on this album instead. Bad omen for HKT48 album actually…

NMB has the most members that already has their slots sold till the 2nd round (with 10 members and about half of them are young gen).
