Album AKB48 9th [Bokutachi wa, ano hi no yoake wo shitteiru] (2018/01/24)

They should just scrap albums completely. We already get 30+ songs a year as it is. It would go a long way to help relieve the “pressure” on wotas wallets.

 

Wotas have rights to 'not buy' the products, because it's our money anyway

 

I like albums. I prefer albums over listening to the single EPs (I know they're not really called EPs officially). The only thing I would wish for is for a single edition of the album instead of 3-5 or more (Type A, Type A Limited, Type B, Type B Limited, Regular, etc). But I know that's not going to change. I usually delete the singles out of my iTunes library once I have the album, except if there's a B-side I really, really like. The last single I still have is Labrador Retriever because I liked that there were team songs on it

I saw the dates for the " 2-shot " event... Sorry, I will not be able to come to the event. For the 2018/4/8, I will still be in Osaka and for the 2018/4/30, I will already be in France again. So, it is missed for the event...

You guys should check NMB’s handshake results on their own single too. I do not understand why NMB wotas are wasting money on the AKB album...

Yes, but NMB spends much more money on AKB album than the other sister groups. And the sale of their only single this year will be horrified.

Look like NMB does not have many hako-oshis as the other groups.

 

Maybe not entirely, but space them a bit more.

One every 1.5 years is good enough.

And maybe they can make them a 48G album and just have the SG release singles or something.

And yeah, NMB’s single is going to be painful to watch.

 

It's the regional economic structure.
Unlike Tokyo and Aichi which mainly comprised of high-end finance service and automotive manufacture industries (Resulting in higher ratio of deep-pocket salaryman fans.) respectively, Osaka were characterized with one word: SMEs(Small and Medium Enterprises). Lots of SMEs.

This is partially the reason why:
1. NMB sales in Tokyo region could be same or even bigger than in Osaka region. (It actually apply to many SG, though.)
2. Most if not all NMB girls that is ranked in SSK, has one way or another, exposure with Tokyo fans.
Either by Kennin/Transfer, inclusion in AKB single, or simply YT account. Notable exception is probably Okita Ayaka. Yet her fans has to do something extra for the sake of her rank. Something that Yoshimoto not fond of.
3. NMB were strong in f2p competition (Including popularity survey), but always lost in p2w race.
