Despite each episode being more like two movies, I do really enjoy it a lot. It feels more complete and less like there could be pounds of context missing.

What? I still could vote for Liu Nian today, yesterday and the day before.

 

Maybe there's a glitch? Voting usually opens when the episode airs, and closes at 1pm GMT+8 the next day. Keep voting though. Happy accidents happen.

 

Let me guess, season 3 will include SNH girls.

 

Or half contestant being Team SH members.

Do we know if the visa restrictions are nowadays like they were back in 2012?
The whole Sae / Mariyanu was a mess, but I could see them even sending some Japanese members eventually if Produce 48 shows results.

 

Should be better but even then Mimi Lee from Thailand had some issues that put her out of action for a day.

With warming Sino Japanese ties as of late thought it shouldn’t be as bad as 6 years ago where it was really on the rocks.

No way Japanese members would make it. If you don’t speak Chinese you are not going to make it. Also TPE48 is also out of the question unless they merge with AKB48 CHINA.

Produce 101 is for mainstream with KPOP slant. There is a separate platform runned by Bilibili for all the Japanophile stuff. The 2 don’t mix.

 

Auditions are heading to Beijing next. It's also the final day to apply for Team SH.

For those complaining about the length of an episode the next one is a little less than 2 hours long.

Edit: Registration deadline has been extended to May 31 12pm. A lot of girls complained about not getting the chance to apply so they gave them another week.

I was able to watched episode 6 of Produce 101 China. Liu Nian felt shocked when her name was called as the last returning trainee in the show.

She was eliminated. She can focus on her group now.

 

At least she's still in the show!

Even if she doesn't get to the final group, I'm sure she'll be at the front of AKB CHINA.

How long is the audition supposed to last?
I'm curious to know about how many girls they have waiting behind the scenes like Nian and WeiJian were.
