I feel like STU is not gonna break it like NGT did, simply because none of their songs feature ALL of the current members yet. The reason Max 315 Go won was because the song has all of the members from 1st gen, Draft 2, and YuKitarie in it so the sense of unity was strong and from the looks of it, the fans were dedicated af.

If STU pulls NGT and wins tho. Yeah, expect Miss Long Leg Takino Yumiko to breach Top 16 in SSK like Hinatan and Ogiyuka did.

that's the strong point, you can appeal to many different fandoms and make them believe this is basically the only song they can vote for:flower:

Team 8 fans will switch to any other song? Not sure but let's see what the fanbase will do.

I really want to see what would happen if "Overture" ranked 1st? I know they ranked #78 back in 2008 but it would be different if it ranked 1st. Would all the members... "sing" together the "Overture"? :^^;:

OF COURSE THE WINNING SONG WILL BE SAIKOU KA YO, THAT KISS SONG, OR THAT SOLO SO MANAGEMENT HAVE MORE REASONS TO LOVE A PARTICULAR PERSON :mail:

I tell you, on JKT48 RH, fans of Shani, this year center of JKT48 sousenkyo are voting Akai Pinheel to Professor because JKT48 version of this song is given to her.

What if both of AKB48 & JKT48 RH winner is this song?

Actually I don't want it tho....

Shutsujin might do well here because Ogiyuka is center and apperantly the song and mv tells her story

Funny thing, in this case, we'll still see more NGT members on the stage when they announce 1st place. :shifty:
Not really a good song for representing Team 8 imo. Good for Onishi though.

Maybe unrelated question, but... SKE and NMB didn't have their own RH's this year, right?
I believe SKE hasn't had it since 2015 even.
    And HKT never had one.

If they're going to do this a 48G thing, I wish they'd expand it to 200 songs.
They basically release 100 songs a year, so it would be nice to see them have a chance even if its at 199th.

If they finish this on Saturday, I wonder if we'll see some random concerts on the Sunday (if they have it booked)?
Team 8, New Unit, AKB-only, solos?

I wish they sandwich something during the weekdays, I mean last year concerts were successful there is no reason for them to not do it again. Eg, a STU solo con, team 8 concerts, they could even do a unit matsuri with the janken units.

But do they have the founds to do this ?
It looks like the SSK is still a huge crevice in their budget.
