The fifth Janken Taikai will be held on Wednesday, September 17th.

Title: AKB48 Group Janken Tournament 2014~Grab Victory With Your Fist! 1/300 Solo Debut Competition~

PARTICIPATING MEMBERS

• AKB48: all 79 (without kennin) team members+ 3 (Team 8) + 1 (AKB48 Kenkyuusei)
• SKE48: 8 members
• NMB48: 7 members
• HKT48: 5 members
• all sister group members serving a concurrent position in AKB48 (10 members)

The system is the same. First, there's the "XXX48 Kenkyuusei preliminary", and then, they go the final of their group.

So they didn't even delay it, that's cool!
But the fact that only 3 girls from the KKS and Team 8 combined can participate...

I'm hoping Miyabi parurus her way to the front.

 

They could have let the KKS participate, I mean come on there's only 2 of them! For Team 8 I can understand, there's 47 of them, the odds are that this would turn into a Team 8 song.
I'm praying for a winner that isn't already a senbatsu regular this year!

What irks me is that they're not letting all the Team 8 girls participate... it's like considering them "not proper members" or something. I really want this team to stay.

^ Yah, really sux for Umechan... especially since Pirate Umeda was only one win away from making the janken senbatsu last year.

I'm glad they bumped up the HKT allotment from 3 to 5. Plus, all those kennins and transfers... HKT will have a strong presence in this year's tourney. Also... Murashige in a costume and playing some janken... please let it finally happen. Also... really hope Meru gets one of the 5 spots since the rest of the HKT top aces have free passes into the tourney thanks to their kennin positions.

I bet they gave Sayanee a kennin just to get her in this tournament... especially now that Yuko is gone.

IMO this is it... this is the year... if another uber-popular member wins again... that's 3 years in a row! Instant janken conspiracy validation! LOL.

Also... justin.tv is shutting down right? That will make it harder to watch any live stream I bet.

Since the second Janken, all the center is from regular senbatsu member (Mariko, Paruru, Jurina).

I hope Izuta Rina wins so everyone will stop with the conspiracies.

Anyway, karma should work its magic and give something good to Ricchan and Annin.

I'll be content with any of the girls in my signature winning.

 

^ I want Izurina to win because I like Izurina. However... I don't want her to win because I would really hate for her to be the girl that centers the single which breaks the millions streak.

I still remember her in her red dress from last year... that was actually the first time Kojimako come on my radar. But crap... I forget Suuchan won't get an automatic bid this year... she was kinda lucky when it came to Janken too.

AKB48 janken conspiracy is actually my fav subject... for two reasons... 1.) It is utterly fascinating how lucky management has been for the past 3 years. And 2.) I also find it fascinating at how many people get genuinely upset at all the conspiracy talk.

 

Damn I have to work during the HKT prelims.
