Not really surprised, Japan's birthrate is declining and one of the reasons is people not wanting to get married or have children as they tend to focus on their job/careers first. I remember reading an article that says about 1/3 of Japanese women in their 30's are single, so I'm not really surprised.

Does anyone know if it’s official that AKB will be opening the 2020 Olympics? Because it’s been posted on Facebook in a bunch of LatinAmerican Facebook groups and pages, but I don’t really remember and I also don’t wanna get too excited.

Was wondering when AKB48's 6th thru 15th Generations were born? Was mostly wondering this since today is AKB48's 5th Generation's 10th Anniversary.

    ^mayuyu is 3rd gen and is 23
Paruru is 9th gen and is 23
    Jurina is what 2
Kojimako is 14th gen and is 20
Their ages are all over the place. You'll have an easier time finding bigfoot than finding a correlation between gen and their birth year

I think forest was asking for 6th-15th generation's birthdates, not members birthdates that're from those generations.
Basically when those generations were announced to be officially part of 48G.

I know. I brought those up just to show that girls in the same gen do not necessarily fall under the same age bracket. Lets take 9th for instance which is in the 6th to 15th, Miyu is what 20 or 21 or something? Then minarun is 24 or 25, paruru in between. There is no corellarion bwtween birth year and gens. Jurina who is 1st gen ske is just 1 yr older than kojimako who is 14th gen. But if you want a real answer then the birthdates of 6th to 15th gen would fall between 1992-2000 i would think.

Again it's not the members' birthdates, but the generation itself.

    6th gen - April 2008
    7th gen - December 2008
    8th gen - April 2009
    9th gen - September 2009
    10th gen - March 2010
    11th gen - July 2010
    12th gen - April 2011
    13th gen - September 24, 2011
    14th gen - July 2012
    15th gen - May 2013

I got all of these from the wiki, Forest was asking for the specific dates since these only show month and year.

Here's a good example from SKE48 to show a level of disparity between ages and gens:

    Matsui Jurina - born 1997/3/8 (age 20), 1st Gen, debuted July 2008
    Yahagi Yukina - born 1995/3/13 (age 22), 8th Gen, debuted November 2016

Ah, ok, i get it. Its the "birthday" that made it confusing.
Anyway, recruitment for each gem seems random. Probably takes place when they feel they need additiomal girls

@ForrestFuller should have wrote "debut" instead of "birthday", as that is supposedly what he is looking for......?

A more specific date for 15th Gen debut is May 6th, 2013. They made their debut at the 48G KKS Concert in Budokan. (still probably my fave 48G concert, outside of Yukirin solo concerts ofc.)

Since he ended it with "Was mostly wondering this since today is AKB48's 5th Generation's 10th Anniversary." you'd naturally assume he was looking for the other gens' bdate/debut and not birthdays of members from those generations.

You don't go for the food; you go to say you have been there and to see the portraits in the back hall. At least that's why I went.

From what I hear, people say the food is disgusting and not worth the price. They all say that there are better foods around that price. I think, however, the price is pretty fair for a gimmick shop though lol. You should go with the intention of the experience and not for the actual food itself because I'm sure you can find better.

You def go there for the gimmicks. If you want good food I highly suggest you avoid akb cafe or maid cafe's alike.
