Gahhhh!!! Im sooo going to the meet! hahahah 35+ AKB48 songs to sing?! We will be there for hours! Little Tokyo is a good place to chill. Well done on picking the next meeting spot! I will also maybe bring some AKB48 items for trade, or sell. [nod] Cant wait to talk to, meet and see the new SoCal Members! Super Excited!!! [party]

  I'm not technically a AKB SoCal Fanclub member (anymore at least xD two years ago, I would have been~) but I promise the day I come back, I'm definetely taking part of your meetings

Third meet-up turned out MORE than successful!
ten member were able to attend!
We totally "robbed" the Kinokuniya at Little Tokyo LA and during the process we were able to run into another fan who was buying the election magazine (will tell the story at a later time). Then ate at a Japanese resturant, thought the wait was a bit long but we were able to get to know each other a lot more. After that we hit the karaoke bar and sang AKB48 songs for 2-3 hours [party]

This meet up was AMAZING. Seriously, I haven't had this much fun in a while! Thank you for hosting it and thank you to everyone that came. I felt like I really made some good friends out of this and I can't wait to see the videos of us.

I really hate to say this but... as it is right now, we are trying to limit the group to only the fans that live in the SoCal area only. But we will definitely expand in the future. But we do have a Facebook page set up for all the fans in the world. You are more than welcome to take a look at that. We'll be posting group updates and information about club meet-ups on there as well.

Kidding aside, I think this is a great idea. I mostly lurk, so I don't have much of a history at all, but I'd be interested in dropping by one of these meet-ups some day. Looks like the group is having lots of fun, especially karaoke-ing, and I love that.
