"Unranked members" is practically all of Team 8/NGT and a lot of NMB

So this is simultaneous with the 80 people one... hmm... I think given the choice this one might be more interesting... assume this will include who didn't participate too (Yuiri, Monika) and plenty of people who have centres stuff or getting attention... Okappa, Ikumin, Yamada Nanami, Fukuoka Seina, and up and coming or solid members from NMB, HKT Inc some captains... Antan, Emiri. And lots of MC material, Ogasawara, Oya

Wait, so it's on the same day as the ranked member concert, in a smaller venue, with 300 odd members not just 80? The hall seats ~2500...

This is a bit weird o_O On one hand, this will get some girls far more opportunity then they would have in the big concert, but on the other, it creates a segregation between ranked and not ranked that I'm not convinced is a good thing. I'm not sure what I think of this.

    300?!?!
271 girls applied to the election.
80 ranked, hence... Roughly 190 girls should participate in this concert.

I don't know how they'll treat those who didn't apply. Many of them have graduated, but I doubt it would make it over 200.

Ah, 190 ish is better than 300 ish... but it's still a lot  (For some reason I thought Japan48 had around 400 members...)

Maybe I'm being cynical but a concert with this many girls sounds to me like "let's have a bunch of songs with 16 or more girls each so everyone can take part but it'll look messy". Either there will be no small unit songs or they get played for about a minute each. Or maybe the concert is four hours long, though I doubt that.

Personally I wouldn't mind a concert where the members perform in groups of 16-21 each song. Most unit songs by the 48 groups have been performed to death at this point and the chances of the less used ones being broken out for this are slim. There's no guarantee we'd see any rarely used non unit songs either of course, but at least with non unit songs they'll spare themselves part of the headache. They can just stick the girls they want to push from this bunch of unranked girls in center positions. If any such girl even exists among the options here.

Come on management, you're making the fans choose which concert they want to attend? That's EVIL. I guess it's fine that if you fail to get into one concert you have a chance to go to the next, though, but still.

It is kinda B.S that management decided to have two separate concerts for rank and unranked. To make it even worst that are on the same day. It's like management rubbing salt on the wounds of the unranked girls. I just hope they will put as much money in the this concert as the other one.

Last thing I want is for people to only want to go to the ranked members' concert and not the unranked. That's going to hurt and scar them real hard.

I bet there are many oshis of unranked girls who would like to go to the Kengai concert uvú but seriously, why make them choose?

I know I'd personally much rather see the kengai members. I have some faves who are top girls but I'm not hurting for Sasshi-related content the same way I am for Shiichan or Haruu stuff, you know? There are a lot of people out there who are compelled to support the underdog but the issue with AKB is that nearly all of the 300 girls are underdogs since there's so little room at the top. The support gets spread so thin that we can barely see it but it's there. I'm really glad that we're getting an event for fans to finally do something with all that love and support for these girls.

This. I hope it won't happen tho, considering the amount of unranked members are two (or even three) times more than the ranked ones.

Kanagawa Kenmin Hall seats roughly 2,493 people. The senbatsu 80 concerts hall, Yokohama Arena, seats roughly 15,000.

2.5k seating is a lot for unranked members. Even if individual ones have die-hard fans, they can't buy 10 tickets while they are only person.
To be very honest, I kind of want to see a shuffle. I'm very anticipated to see where some of the members will go.

Another incentive for fans to vote more! haha

Basically, making the girls suffer is the core concept of AKB. I really don't get why people are surprised lol
