English: [August 8 is Eight's day Summer 2016! It's Eight! Pit Festival]

Announced at the last zenkoku tour in Chiba a once a year event for Team 8
There will be 3 stages [Asa PIT], [Oyasu PIT] and [Yoru PIT]
For those coming at Asapit, helping members will be giving out breakfast at the entrance.
There will also be an event called [Pitto Matsuri] where different games will be held together with the members.

There will be an AKB National Handshake event on 7/31 at Nagoya Dome with all 47 members of Team 8 and only Team 8 will participate in the event. This is also Team 8's first National Handshake event.

Wow has that happend before with teams or subunits that they get an own HS-Event? So a CD-Debut might not be so farfetched afterall. Hope they sell at least 50%

 

Hello all, another victim of team 8 awesomeness here. Thanks to certain cephalopods in tumblr who also lurking around here and team8lounge, I fell hard for this team already. Reading this thread from page 1, Team 8 have gone a long way.

Thanks Renjiro for the HS info. Do anyone attend the event or have information on getting a ticket? I happen to have free time in Japan at that day, but considering I haven't bought any theater CD I don't have any HS ticket. Would love to meet and shake Rinrin's hand though.

Welcome to the Team 8 world where once you got in its really hard to get out.

For the HS, I haven't attended one yet. But what I know is that since this is a National HS you can get the ticket from the limited edition of the singles I posted (42nd, 43rd, 44th) which I think can be bought on stores, for this you can also go to whichever member that you want. I think this is really different from the individual HS which uses theater CDs for tickets. Good luck going to the event and just say to hi to Rinrin for me

Considering the past years, the training camp of Ne-mousu will be held sometime during 8/16-26. Hope won't upset their health.

 

At the very least, they're such a large team that they can vary the member lineup for a lot of those events (TIF, stages, USJ, and summer festival at the very least). But I do hope they don't overwork any of the members.
