    =====
My comment is that they should do this more often. The majority of them are really good singers. Really enjoyed the performance.
Probably one of the thing that they can do better is the scheduling. Right now AKB, especially Team 8 members, are busy practicing for TDC concerts thus the contest timing is not ideal.

Prize is a solo song for the winner (written by Aki-P). Also top 8 + OdaEri will get a special live. Should be fun and really good based on the performance of those girls.

omg I'm so happy for her. She blew me away when this whole thing started and I'm glad she won tbh. She needs to release a cover of like every Momoe-san's songs tho cause this girl kills it.

Agree. Won't complain much if competition like this replace or complement janken. Dancing competition anyone? :fear:
A CD with 3 songs and 3 MVs, combination of luck, singing skill, and dancing skill. I'll buy that.

I tried listening to some of the finalists but I just couldn't stand almost any of the songs lol. Was definitely much happier with a piano-only arrangement. I actually did like Kano's perf the best, on the other hand, it also wasn't completely mind-blowing so, yeah.

Congrats to Kanochan, i was really impressed with both of her singing performances(Part of Your World and Harukaze).
And congrats to Moeka and Naachan too.
Currently, I'm looking forward to the special live. Hope it'll be great.

Same. Her second song, felt very much like the first time I saw Yukirin's solo concert. Magical. :^O^:

All the girls in the Top 8 did great for their second set. But imo, Eretan was better than 2 or 3 of the others.

Kano deserved to win for that Little Mermaid song alone, that was fantastic even though disney. :v:

And Nana deserved a win for No, Thank You performance. That one was the best performance of the night.:approve:

Glad I did not have to judge the comp. :XD:

At first I thought this contest would be rigged, but Kano-chan saved the day :1st:

    Still, congrats to the winners!

she joined the first round and passed, and then they announced the final day which she already has a scheduled theatre play performance

so she has to withdraw from the contest.

Agreed. I be damned if I had to judge all them performances

Oshi-aside, glad that the competition was taken and judged seriously. Kano-chan demonstrated great pitch range, control and expression

Definitely no alternative Kano and Moeka are the best, other girls also great but I think they sang not the right songs... like Hatsu and Aki

Unfortunately Aki chosed a wrong song. Instead of Another Orion, she could beat Kano if she sing an Enka song (even with Wasamin’s simple Enka song Mujin Eki or Teresa Teng’s). And poor Rissen, get well soon baby :(

But congrats to the winners! They did great last night and make me realize that 48G nowadays not only consist of Sakura-ish voice kids.

I second this. Something to make the event stands out more wouldn't be a bad idea. It shows that idols can be some very serious artists.
