Omg MASSIVE CONGRATS TO SAYAKA in completing the marathon and regainig her captainship. To me, there has NEVER been any other team K captain but Sayaka, but now that it's been made official to herself it just makes it a million times better

This is an awesome day for Sayaka!!! Congrats on finishing the marathon, and returning as Team K's captain!!!!! So happy for her! [party] I can't even imagine running a 5k marathon, let alone a 40k one. Lots of respect and admiration for her. And then on top of that, the announcement of DiVA, this is a great day for Sayaka and Sayaka fans alike!!

Today I ran the Tokyo Marathon.
Didn't each one of so many runners run one step at a time with each's own thoughts hidden in the heart?
The back of all of them who were so earnest was beautiful.
My aim was to complete the race.
The cheers of all the people at the roadside, the runners encouraging each other, the members' kindness, the support of the fans.
I felt again how people's strenght and words can became energy and encourage...
If I didn't have that, I don't think I would have been able to run 42.195 km.
People support and are supported.
The orchestra played "Aitakatta" and "Heavy rotation" for me...
Being encouraged by songs that usually we sing, I cried.
As we were running, a person told me "I'm listening to Iiwake maybe as I'm running, so please do your best!".
It felt like people who don't even know each other's name became one under Tokyo's sky.
I felt people's warmth.
Just like the good old Japan...
Those things that are almost lacking in nowadays Japan...
Is people's connection, but today I could see a lot of that.
There's a meaning in challenging something you don't like.
Somehow, I became more honest than before running.
Honestly, earnestly, I'm thankful.
It's an important thing.
Sae, Yuka, Ume-chan, and then... all the members, thank you so much.
And then, all the fans who supported me.
Thanks to you I could complete the race.
Sorry for always troubling you.
At the end of the live broadcast, Miyane-san told us from an email sent by Akimoto-sensei that I could come back as Team K captain.
I was astonished...
Honestly there's a lot of things I'm uncertain about, but I'll start from scratch and do my best to get closer to what a captain should be,
To all my fans and the members who have always been worried for me, Akimoto Sayaka will start from zero and do her best.
Thank you so much.
Thanks to running this marathon I feel like I got to know myself better.
I like marathons now(^O^)

then, we had her announce it to the fans as a surprise guest on today's theatre performance.
Moreover!
It was announced that the new unit "DiVA" will be formed by Akimoto, Masuda, Umeda and Miyazawa and that it will have its cd debut on April.
I was at an event in Hong Kong and couldn't be there at the marathon nor at the announcement...
So when I thought of congratulating Akimoto and I called her, she said me in a cheerful voice "A lot of people have supported me, so it was really fun!"
A full marathon might not be something directly related to AKB48 but there's a lot in common if we think about "earnestness".
The manager who ran with her started feeling sore after the 20km mark, and had to stop at 35km.
So I think that Akimoto, who trained in the free time among her busy schedule and arrived at the goal, even if that took some time, was really amazing.
And to all the fans who have supported her, thank you very much.
Please keep supporting Team K's Akimoto Sayaka and DiVA.

As expected, Sayaka finished the marathon gracefully and was rewarded for her perseverance and hard work!! [clap] [clap] I cried seeing Sayaka listen to the announcement of her reinstatement I always get emotional when I see Sayaka cry T___T

I thought it was wonderful just seeing Sae embrace Sayaka at the finish line, but with the additional news of the formation of DiVA and Sayaka regaining her position, this was one of the most momentous and joyous AKB events for mee
