We have a number of pre-installed avatars that you can select from. If you want to personalize a little more, just upload your own to an external image hosting site like Imgur and link to the file in your settings here.

In case you're not too savvy with graphics, you can always ask the forum to make you an avatar and/or signature over in this thread.
