Hmmm... the eventbrite event page is now password protected. [wonder]

Maybe it was put up prematurely, and is now locked until it's ready?

Yeah could be getting things ready to actually sell or something. It's about an hour and half 'til 14th in JST. One theory could be they're letting press and people have the password so they can grab tickets first, but that's really just a guess.

Just ordered my ticket! Unfortunately, they only allow 1 ticket per person.

    Now for finding plane tix....

Tickets acquired for both shows! Also found round-trip plane tickets for $138, not bad... It's looking more and more like I'll be able to go to this :D

Oh you know what it is? If you waitlisted and clicked the link from your e-mail, you can get 1 per show through there. But if you go to page directly, you can get 2 per show. I think cause if you waitlisted they're holding 1 for you for a certain period through that link, so you to have the chance to buy it first.

    Read my last post. =D

    ----

Hmmm, there's a serial number but no seat number on the tickets so I wonder how they're gonna do it. Seat number tied to serial number somehow and earlier tickets get better seats? First-come first-serve line requiring us to camp? Completely random lottery system? (oh god that would suck, I'm not traveling 2500 miles to risk sitting in the back [flip] )

I'm betting on first come first serve seating. Personally, I hope that's what it is; I'm more than a little used to camping in lines. (The Japanese wota might camp reeeally early, though...)

My guess is that it'll be general admission, so first come first serve aside from areas blocked off for press and VIP... maybe we should do a S48 camp before the show?

On another note, anybody planning on flying in to Dulles (IAD) instead of DCA? Wondering if the longer ride to and from the airport will be worth the money saved.

^I got the $138 round-trip price I mentioned by flying into BWI (which is apparently 20-some miles from DC). Flights to Dulles and DCA were muuuch more expensive for me. And a friend told me I can take the Supershuttle to DC for $15. (getting back would be the problem, but I have an idea)

BWI doesn't save me any money at all.. Neither does IAD, but at least IAD will allow me to fly non-stop for the same price as to DCA with 1 stop.

    decisions decisions...
