Event / Concert Concerts in Saitama Super Arena (2018/03/31 - 2018/04/01)

I have been waiting for a AKB solo concert for so long. The one they had at Takamina's graduation concert was amazing. I can't wait to check out how the new teams will be (and how Komiharu will fit into team K). I hope they announce some cool stuff there as well.

In 2015, SG were there because the shuffle, that shuffle involved some SG girls, so they invited the senbatsu of each SG. CMIIW.

But yeah I hope SG will come and perform their Jabaja B-side songs, those songs are amazing.

So basically a rehash of what they did in 2014.

I like the idea.
It should be fun to see Old Team B performing with just 11 girls and then go to 25 (or 27, if the include their bonded KKS).

I suppose, but the point is that they flew the girls into Tokyo just to perform one song (and the shuffle), so they can do it again here.
I think it's a waste if they don't perform these songs.

I'm still angry at STU for not performing their whole single during their solo concert back in January.
What's the point of releasing songs if they're going to be forgotten?


Ideally, the day concert would include the SG + goodbye to old teams/kennin.
The evening one just the AKB (new) teams.

 

Pretty sure STU will do all those songs in their own solo concert when they get a real concert venue to perform in.

Was it you who complained about AKB not doing enough "real" concerts/tours last year or someone else, I forgot.

 

I have complained about them not doing concerts. Period.

The TDC concerts are nice, but they are basically an extension of the Request Hour (just like the Unit Matsuri used to be).

All we have nowadays is:
- Request Hour
- Sousenkyou concert
- Ranked / Unranked concert
- Kouhaku
- Graduation concert if a big name is leaving

So I'm happy that there is a big concert just for the sake of having a concert and not because the calendar says it.

 

I think it is just AKB48 itself that hasn't had a 'real' concert in a while. All the SGs had theirs.
