I mean sure, stages usually have centers but has being a "team center" ever officially assigned before? Does that mean that all team songs and team performances in concerts will be centered by these members?

Also just saw somewhere that has Team 4 with Naachan and Yamauchi as a W-Center (which makes sense). Team B I'm guessing is actually both of them (With Megu as #1 and Seina as #2)

Until now, they never anounced who the stage centers are before the shonichi.
It has allways been part of the surprise in discovering the show.

I'm waiting if it hits the news, or if it's just conclusions made up from the concert observations.

I saw on twitter from japan fans saying that the new centers are for me team songs? Not absolutely sure they mean the songs performed by new teams today or will there gonna be NEW TEAM SONGS?

For an AKB Tandoku Concert, there sure are a lot of Kennin centers XD

This seemed like a transition concert, from old to new teams, so I wonder how the night Concert will play out. I hope there are more shuffled units since we already got the Team performances.

That Ga Ga Ga, though... <3 I like the setlist a lot. But why the hell is Annin getting "She's gone"?? Are they playing with us? XD

Ah, the whole Center/Ace thing. I saw the announcement, although I was far from the screen, and just assumed the one Team member who's face was bigger was the captain. But if they are now officially naming a member an official "center" of a team (or stage for that matter) it kinda goes against what I have always understood the definition of "Center" to be. It makes me wonder though, if someone is now the official Team "center," what does that say to the rest of the Team members? But whatever...

Nobody has mentioned yet that there was a live band for half the show, beginning at Song #20. I don't remember though if they stayed until the next MC, or just before the encore. Also....

And I hear this as been a bit controversial on Twitter, but the started today's show with the overture, had the kennin do Enjou Rosen, and then did another Overture. Some of the sister group fans found this offensive, as if to say "Now the real concert is starting" or something.

I thought the sound was a lot better today, compared to yesterday. That was my biggest complaint about the HKT show, aside from my oshi breaking her toes. I thought the sound was horrible. It sounded muted where I was, and as a result the show lacked energy. Now today I was sitting in a different part of the venue, and that may have been a factor. But I also noticed that the speakers were positioned differently today, which tells me that they made adjustments.

And I will probably upset some people, but I thought that was the worst performance of Maria I have ever seen/heard in my life. It wasn't necessarily Nako's fault, although I think she lacks the fierceness the song needs, but the other two sounded bad, and collectively they just didn't capture the spirit of that song at all. Oh, and She's Gone was only slightly less bad.

But between the two shows I saw (HKT and AKB Matinee) I thought the AKB show was more enjoyable.

    Oh...

Neither of today's shows sold out. There were empty seats at the early show, and they still have tickets available for the evening show. I don't know about SKE, but I do know that they still had HKT tickets available when I entered the venue last night too.

thanks @Cristafari for the summary:) Nice the reading some live opinions:blush:

Overall the setlist was ok, the shuffle units could be better (especially the kenning members beeing involved so much)

I just listened to a recording of Naachan's solo in Mae Shika Mukanee and that child is a national treasure. She totally deserves to take over as AKB's distinctive vocal. If she sounds like what AKB is supposed to sound like from now on I'm so glad I chose her for ni-oshi and I will stay just to support her even if my Kami jumps ship. Takamina and Mayuyu gave a distinctive flair to every chorus back in the day, now if they mix everything for Naachan to sound more prominent from now on...

The whole idea of a single member centering everything a team does is ridiculous though?

One of the good things of watching a stage is seeing them use different formations and, in consequence, different girls trying it as center.

That's her unit in A7?!?!? :XD:

There is something missing from this setlist.
Maybe too many units. Maybe too many typical songs.
I hope there won't be kennin in the second one.

    Wasn't that expected though?
Four concerts in two days is a lot. And it's a big venue.
Plus, AKB announced theirs merely weeks ago?

Seeing how the SG are selling, it's a miracle management even proposed SKE and HKT to go on SSA, IMO.

Yeah, I know! BUT! Why did it have to be "She's gone" right before she leaves to Mexico?
