Event / Concert Concerts in Saitama Super Arena (2018/03/31 - 2018/04/01)

I really hope they don't overcrowd the stage with members too much or force members to get too on the edge next time. First it's hkt's temporary stages (nothing), then it's Yuka (toe fracture), and now it's Kaori (skull fracture)

 

They were also running on those rather narrow passages in very high heels, which is obviously not a good idea (even if you don't fall, you can easily sprain your ankle or something, which is obviously still pretty bad for someone who makes their living performing/dancing and therefore has to take a few weeks off). I didn't actually see the fall since she wasn't in my part of the hall, but seriously hoping it's just a skull fracture and no other injuries like brain, and that she will recover fast.

 

I whish these serious injuries could have been easily avoided.
By constructing larger catwalks, even if it means sacrificing some seats (were any concert sold out ?)
Or by taking more time in rehearsals so the girls integrate better the stage space and geometry.

What I get from the official statement regarding Inagaki is that just before she fell, she didn't know where she was standing exactly on the stage. She turned herself and ... you know the end of the story.

 

Shouldn't there be some sort of safety around the stage? Something like a net or a matress. On the other hand, maybe thats a fire hazard.

I agree with this. Seeing how a lot of members are forced out on the catwalks every concert, I've always thought it looks kind of dangerous when they squeeze together on the small stages.

 

so much for "stop with dangerous wrestling and do more concerts instead!"

 

Well, for me the wrestling events are more under controle.
They trained and rehearsed their moves and learn how to fall for more weeks with professional coaches, and the ring is fully overpaded.

 

I'd love to see a full version of the GAGAGA performance

I'm really glad they did a special segment to say farewell to Annin. I'm excited to see her back in AKB48 in a year and hopefully, the management will give her a token of appreciation after the Mexico Telenovela.

What does that trailer mean in conjunction with the concert?
Since it covers other contents like SSK which clearly happened after this concert.
I'm guessing it's extra/bonus content? Some kind of Mini-Documentary?
