[DISCUSSION] Hope, Fear, and Predictions for Nogizaka46

well they do have mini collaborations sometimes like the recent NTV Best Artist 2013.
As for performing directly together there was one event during the sasshi vs nogizaka event where sasshi performed oide shampoo with them together.

Predictions:
-Hori Miona remains in senbatsu
-Matsumura Sayuri or Shiraishi Mai becomes the center for the next single
-Ikuta Erika has her own song in the next single showcasing her already excellent piano expertise

Hopes:
-Wada Maaya becomes a center for the next single
-Hoshino Minami brings herself back to senbatsu status
-New members come in who are around the 1993-1995 birth year?
-Nogizaka46 does a concert in Los Angeles as an opening act for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu OR performs in Anime Expo 2014(this is my dream and good lord if it actually happened... [boom])
-Nogizaka46 brings two random gravure idols as under members (Kurita Emi and Shinohara Saemi)

Fears:
-Fukagawa Mai graduates [sweat]
-Hoshino Minami gets fed up where she is right now and leaves prematurely
-The group is forced to disband at the peak of their popularity (see the Ebisu Muscats as a prime example)

 

Well I want Ikuta to have a solo CD like Yukirin from AKB.
-Minamin is now back to UG for mission, to give a full force to UG(tactical move)

Mayaa is v pitiful. In HS the guy in front of me said her name wrong, Maiyan he said. She smile and said Mayyan.

Kotoko will never make into Senbatsu from Kenshyusei.

Hopes:

-Ito Junna is the next 2nd gen to get pushed
-Wada and Higuchi's time in senbatsu helps them grow in popularity
-AmiAmi gets more airtime and opportunities
-Yamatomato and Chiharu make their senbatsu debut this year
-Sayuringo back in front row. As center with Nanamin.
-More karaoke on NogiBingo

Fears:

-Misamisa will continue to be royally shafted and it will eventually hurt her popularity beyond repair
-AmiAmi never gets more popular despite being totally awesome and amazing and perfect

 

Well, backstage, mayuyu and ikoma-chan are mail-buddies so there is interactions, lets hope for more on-screen interations

 

Hope :
1. ALBUM. N46 will release their 8th single, so i think it's time for them to release album after the 8th single.
2. Performing in Music Station. Msta is a prestigious music program in Japan. They haven't appeared on the show. I hope they can make it this year.

 

Hope:
-Kawamura gets more spotlight on her for her dancing and singing when Nogi has their own show version of AKB Show
-Ikoma becomes more popular and hopefully becomes center again? Just 1 future single is fine.
-Ikuta center
-Takayama not being borderline dropping out of senbatsu
-Ito Karin making it into senbatsu for the 9th single
-Their 1st album gets announced after 10th single promotions end

Fear:
-One of the Nogizaka girls will get moved to a 48 Group during the shuffle tomorrow
-Ikoma getting pushed out of Fukujin
-Kawamura leaving the group

Prediction:
-9th single will go over 600k or more

I don't know how i feel about it. I really like Ikoma in Nogizaka but I feel like this may help her position in the group more. Someone in another thread said something about this helping to force the fans to accept her as the center of the group by forcing them power-vote for her at the election unless they want NGZ to seem like a flop.I do agree with that and I hope it works. I really like Ikoma center for Nogizaka.

I'm excited about Ikoma+ Mayuyu but I would have preferred if Mayu got sent to Nogizaka because I think she fits there better and it's a "fresh" start since people keep saying she's not "fresh" enough for AKB. Hopefully we see Ikoma in all AKB and Nogizaka singles this year. I imagine she will have a prominent position on Team B.

 

Hopes (Goals):

1) Second trip to Japan
2) Attend a concert and/or Nogizaka Principal
3) More handshakes with Ikoma-chan
4) Handshake with Manattan and Naachan

- 9th single with another 2nd gen center (Ito Karin or Yamazaki Rena, please).
- 10th single center with another popular member (Akimoto Manatsu is next in line!).
- They let Ikoma participate in AKB's election and she ranks right in the Kami-7.
- Matsui Rena gets a good position but not as center (4th or 5th is fine).
- Sub-units!
- Album with 8934793847983479834 songs.
- Tour around Japan in bigger venues than the Zepp ones. And ending at Saitama Super Arena.

Fears:
- Girls refuse to be related to AKB and start graduating.

 

Nogibingo, NOGIZAKA SHOW, etc... I don't think they will.

I like your idea of an album with a gazillion songs à la 1830m or Tsugi no Ashiato. I guess my fear is that it would be more of a Kamikyokutachi.

Hopes:
-Ikuta Erika center.
-No more Miona. She had her chance, it didn't do anything for me. Time for another 2nd gen. to get it.
-Good feelings all around between Matsui Rena and the Nogi girls. She really has the potential to take this group higher
-Debut album
-More exposure for 2nd gen. members, specifically Ito Karin
-Sells 1,000,000 CD singles for the first time
-Matsumura Sayuri solo photobook
-If there must be more AKB48 crossovers, hopefully Mayuyu will be involved

Fears:
-Matsui Rena over-saturation
-Graduations...especially within the older girls
-2nd gen. wipes out 1st gen.
-Aki-P decides to abruptly reverse the current trend, giving AKB48 all the good songs and Nogizaka the shit ones.
-More AKB48 crossovers

Predictions:
-Ikuta Erika center. It's time. Seriously...
-Matsumura Sayuri center
-2014 CD singles will surpass that of SKE48, HKT48, and NMB48.
