I was playing the 2007 Spring Concert while I was doing some work today (not recommended if you actually want to be PRODUCTIVE, of course), and a thought occurred to me, seeing the whole lot on stage together like that. If you had to assemble a team of 14-15 AKB48 members from any/all teams, which can include SEEDS if you want to pick some of them, too, who what would your "dream team" look like? I encourage your list not to be just your favorite 14-15 girls, unless you really think all of them would work THAT well together. Mine definitely has some of my favorites, but definitely not all, and it also has a good amount of girls that rank very low on my list overall-- I just think they'd all work well together, for example. And if you want, throw in the stage you think your Dream Team would totally OWN. SO! Here's what I came up with, just listed in the order they came to mind: - Akimoto Sayaka - Kashiwagi Yuki - Watanabe Mayu - Sato Natsuki - Nozomi Kawasaki - Miyazawa Sae - Nakanishi Rina - Ohori Megumi - Masuda Yuka - Saotome Miki - Inoue Naru - Ohe Tomomi - Tanabe Miku - Itano Tomomi - Tojima Hana Stage they'd own: Nounai Paradise (I have to admit, watching Hana to Chire from that concert was the inital inspiration for this post. XD I was sitting there thinking, "Hmm, who would I want to see rocking out to this song?") And for the curious, I'll be keeping track of all the girls used in everyone's, and eventually I'll let you all know the "all-stars" for these Dream Teams-- who's used the most.
^ I got a question for you.. so how exactly did u came up with your team? Did u look at their ability to dance? sing? voice? etc. What exactly were your criterias? ^^?
Hmm, well! For me, it varied by each girl, but in general, I chose people who'd cover a really broad spectrum-- like with some really strong, powerful members-- Sayaka, Yuka; some girls with really nice, melodic voices-- Kashiwagi, Ohe, Rina; some girls with even softer or cuter voices-- Nozomi, Sae, Mayu, Itano; and then some wildcards. Like I just wanted to keep Ohe with Tojima, and I would want to see Saotome, Tanabe, Inoue, Sato, and Ohori on stage with all the rest of these girls just because they seemed to "fit." Can't explain that last bunch so much. XD But it's all up to you! I didn't mean to regulate the post so tightly that everyone needs to meet a certain criteria-- if you want to make your team "all the strong voices," or base it around some other category, be my guest! You don't need to follow my criteria or anything. All I wanted to do was prevent people from just listing off their top 14/15 girls, because we already have the Ranking Thread for that. XD Plus, I really wanted to end up seeing who'd end up as the "all stars" I'd mentioned in the last part of my post. So, get creative, go crazy-- even if you don't have a clear reason and just have this feeling that certain girls would just "work" well together or "fit" in together, go right ahead.
If you look into my list of *fav* girls (in my sig), some of them are actually grouped in terms of their voice range etc. and the others are like, the "kawaii" group, "elder" group, etc. But it does somehow relate also to their voices. Heh, I suck at describing voices anyway. ^^; Anyway, best of luck, and hopefully there'll be more fruitful responses. ^^b *thumbsup

Mayu Watanabe This are the regulars in every PV and the ones that I grew to like =P and they are probably the most well known, so they are like the actual Dream Team of AKB48 This would be my Dream Team but I would also like to add: - Nozomi Kawasaki - Natsuki Sato - Kaoru Kayano - Natsumi Matsubara I hope these girls get more coverage in their next single =]
Hey, it just occur to me: Why dont you guys(who lives nearby the theatre) send, I dont know what it's called, some kind of a request/fanmail to the management. The request is to temporarily reshuffle the team's composition. Or ask so that the girls perform songs they never or seldomly performed.
Well it's hard to really chose, without just picking your top 15 :roll: But I've managed to unclude some members, who's not high on my list. My dream team: These members, because they're are my faves. Takahashi Minami Oshima Mai Oshima Yuko Kashiwagi Yuki Itano Tomomi Umeda Ayaka Nakagawa Haruka Inoue Naru Sato Natsuki These members, for other reasons. Maeda Atsuko - Because her and Takahashi is a great pairing. Matsubara Natsumi - She's just very cute... very cute Kasai Tomomi - Her and Yuko is a nice pairing Minegishi Minami - Because she's a very good dancer Shinoda Mariko - She has a deeper voice, and a good thing with a girl who's older than the others
--- off topic post --- well i guess i can do that, but think of it this way: it's not really easy to just pick a girl and let her start practicing moves for a dance number she has never done, and then expect her to go and perform it the next day. i mean, i admit some of the steps are quite repetitive, especially on songs that involve more members, but still, most songs contain steps that may take weeks to master. and with the singing becoming more "live", i guess it just makes it more difficult. now don't just give up hope yet. himawari has started exhibiting this very type of behavior you are describing (same girls but totally different dance steps, cameos, and sometimes a complete uncalled for reshuffle).
I don't see why you'd have to live close to the theater to send a letter. The whole point of a letter is that you can be far away and you can still get the message to somebody

If so, then I didn't do it intentionally, I reallistically (or as realistically as possible) tried to choose either powerful vocalists (Sayaka, Yuka, Ayaka), strong dancers (Mii-chan, Sae, Maimai), girls with amazing stage presence (Kojiharu, Korisu, Mayu) and the rest are girls that I think would be easy to work with i.e: Have nice voices for harmonizing, and stuff like that. Hey, not everyone can be the center. Oh, and I had to include Takamina, even though IMO she odesn't really fit in any of the above categories. She's a good performer, and I love her. The problem is I dont know whats going on there as much as you guys who can visit every day of the week. Since I dont watch live performance, how can I tell which of them are on top at their game, on fire, at the zone on a particular moment. How can I recommend such dream team assembly? Thats why I need your help.
that's a hecka lot more than most of us... but i can tell you Mariko-sama would be on my dream-team for starters! i'll have seriously think and watch more of their concert videos to observe what i seek for my dream team!!
