Episode 1 is a drama/comedy series by and starring NMB48 in collaboration with Europe Planning and the comedy duo Chocolate Planet. Its shown every Sunday 2530 on ABC TV (the Osaka affiliate of TV Asahi). It also has a tieup with the streaming service Osaka Channel. The idea is that they will be creating dramas of different genres and plots but only making Episode 1s of them. They parody all of the popular shows and its a good enjoyable show. Its a pretty genius concept that allows them to play around with stories and creating cliffhangers that go nowhere (for example, there is an alien invasion at the end of Episode 7 Gigako that we will never get to see) The episodes are: 1. YNN had a special feature where they held a vote for the "episode 2 you want to see the most" and the winners were announced in a livestream with Chocolate Planet and Saepii last night. Hey, I didn't know we had a thread for Episode 1, to be honest for this 2019 one of the things i wanted to see was a drama involving nmb girls and somehow my wish come true short episodes, many different girls joining it and in general so much fun.
