Actually it is rather misleading to say that those girls are seeded ........ [think] They still play the same amount of matches as many other girls Only 14 girls need to play in the first round and the rest start with the second round, including those seeded.
The bracket looks fierce. I wonder how it'll end up? ...somehow I hope Ucchi wins again. If that happens, will Aki-P think of another game to play for next year's autumn single senbatsu? 8'DD Besides, Ucchi looks like the kind of person who is really good in janken, and--well, I just associate her with janken. And I tried doing it with dice rolls. Spoiler 9th-16th Shimada Haruka Iwasa Misaki Suzuki Shihori Masuda Yuka Kobayashi Marina Kojima Haruna Oshima Yuko Fujie Reina 5th-10th Yogi Keira Chikano Rina Iriyama Anna Kasai Tomomi 3rd-4th Miyazaki Miho Kuwabara Mizuki 2nd Tanabe Miku 1st Sato Mieko And I feel conflicted with the result. Sure, Myao get 3rd/4th (which I hope to be true in reality ;_____ but I kind dislike the idea of a non-AKB girl to center an AKB single.
I'd just like to say, FUUUUUUU D BRACKET. It makes it impossible for for Miichan, Amina, Uchii to be in media senbatsu together. If there is yet another thing that i say i want to be the only thing to happen in this world, was to have those 3 (+harugon) occupying the top spots. Harugon and Natsumi need to get as high as they can in the a bracket Mariyannu needs to get as high as she can in the c bracket So far im not liking the odds for my oshis D:
Oh dear... These matchups...: 01 Hikawa Ayame 02 Nakamura Mariko 03 Nakagawa Haruka (seed) 04 Nakata Chisato 05 Yogi Keira 06 Suzuki Shihori 07 Oota Aika 08 Akimoto Sayaka 09 Maeda Atsuko 10 Hirajima Natsumi 11 Mori Anna 12 Komori Mika (seed) 13 Shimada Rena 14 Kobayashi Marina 15 Sato Mieko 16 Fujita Nana 17 Yonezawa Rumi 18 Umeda Ayaka 19 Kashiwagi Yuki 20 Kikuchi Ayaka 21 Izuta Rina (seed) 22 Shimazaki Haruka 23 Fujie Reina 24 Oba Mina 25 Kasai Tomomi 26 Nonaka Misato 27 Sato Natsuki 28 Nakatsuka Tomomi 29 Ichikawa Miori 30 Iwasa Misaki (seed) 31 Sato Sumire 32 Nagao Mariya 33 Nakaya Sayaka 34 Watanabe Mayu 35 Yokoyama Yui 36 Kuwabara Mizuki 37 Ishida Haruka 38 Nito Moeno 39 Tanabe Miku (seed) 40 Kobayashi Kana 41 Oya Shizuka 42 Takajo Aki 43 Nakamata Shiori 44 Kojima Haruna 45 Takahashi Minami 46 Matsubara Natsumi 47 Wakabayashi Tomoka 48 Masuda Yuka (seed) 49 Takeuchi Miyu 50 Yamaguchi Yuki 51 Chikano Rina 52 Shinoda Mariko 53 Suzuki Mariya 54 Matsui Sakiko 55 Shimada Haruka 56 Kuramochi Asuka 57 Minegishi Minami (seed) 58 Matsui Jurina 59 Miyazawa Sae 60 Miyazaki Miho 61 Yamauchi Suzuran 62 Sato Amina 63 Takeuchi Mai 64 Katayama Haruka 65 Iriyama Anna 66 Kitahara Rie 67 Itano Tomomi 68 Oshima Yuko 69 Maeda Ami 70 Sashihara Rino 71 Uchida Mayumi [shock] Sayaka vs. Acchan - and Kitarie vs. Tomochin...
Sayaka: Ha! poor girl that face "Lucky" Acchan first Takamina: Ist you silly. Sayaka: Oh shit! [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rk3eNug3xv4[/yt]
Hmm... This would be my pick: 01. Sato Natsuki 02. Miyazaki Miho 03. Chikano Rina 04. Nakata Chisato 05. Maeda Ami 06. Nakaya Sayaka 07. Yonezawa Rumi 08. Tanabe Miku 09. Suzuki Shihori 10. Katayama Haruka 11. Fujie Reina 12. Masuda Yuka 13. Hirajima Natsumi 14. Kuramochi Asuka 15. Iwasa Misaki 16. Kojima Haruna
Here's who I'm hoping to win each block... A Nakagawa Haruka (or an NMB girl) B Ota Aika (or Acchan, but mostly Rabutan!) C Hirajima Natsumi D anyone E Fujie Reina F Kasai Tomomi (or Minarun) G Nagao Mariya (or Suuchan) H Kuwabara Mizuki (why not throw an SKE girl in there? But really anyone is fine) I Nito Moeno (or Shiichan) J Takahashi Minami K Takeuchi Miyu L anyone M Minegishi Minami!! N Sato Amina (or Myao) O Katayama Haruka (or Annin) P anyone (I like Yuko, Sasshi, and Aamin D
If the least popular girls were to win every time, it might look something like this: 01 - Keira Yogi 02 - Shihori Suzuki 03 - Rena Shimada 04 - Runa Fujita 05 - Rina Izuta 06 - Misato Nonaka 07 - Tomomi Nakatsuka 08 - Mizuki Kuwabara 09 - Miku Tanabe 10 - Shiori Nakamata 11 - Yuuki Yamaguchi 12 - Mariya Suzuki 13 - Haruka Shimada 14 - Mai Takeuchi 15 - Anna Iriyama 16 - Mayumi Uchida Broken down by teams: K - 4 4 - 3 (including Iriyama) NMB KKS - 3 B - 2 AKB KKS - 1 S - 1 E - 1 N - 1 So...a "worst case scenario," if you will Though, I'd be quite pleased with a few of those...
Some interesting things I (and everyone else) saw: -Sayaka versus Acchan. I can't imagine a better pair. I'd be hard-pressed to agree with anyone who thinks Maeda should win this one. -Kashiwagi versus Kikuchi. Original Team B second-in-command girls. Crossing my fingers for an Under Girl victory here. -Shimazaki versus Fujie. The battle of the Acchans. (9th generation versus 4th generation) -Possible Kasai versus Natsuki. Last time N had to go against her friend and senbatsu member Sae for a spot, now the same, but with Kasai. Maybe. -Sumire versus Nagao. I feel like Nagao subs for Sumire. But I'm probably off. -The first half of block C. No front girls besides the forever-pushed, never-popularized Moeno. -Kojima versus Takahashi. Hoping for Kojima. Takamina gets enough promotion already. -Chikano versus Shinoda. Mariko should just forfeit so she can focus on her well-paying career. -Jurina versus Sae. I've always seen them as similar idols, as both are skinny and focus on dancing. Go Sae, go. Don't you dare lose. -Rie versus Itano. I don't care for either, but this'll get coverage. Haachan will hopefully get this spot anyway. -The last position. Crap. I don't know why the Yuko versus Ami thing is a thing, since Ami isn't very popular at all. But they share a spot with Sasshi. And Ucchi. So, regardless, we're getting more Sasshipushhi. Darn. If Ucchi wins that match, Sasshi will get "Oh, shucks, you lost!" coverage, and if she wins, she'll get "Wow! You beat the Janken queen!" coverage. Lose-lose. -Also, there's a possibility of 3/4 of senbatsu being SKE, NMB, and KKS/Team 4.
I'm so sad to see my two favorite underdogs, Shii-chan and Tanamin, in the same block. Other then that, I'm looking forward to the results~ Kay
I think fate is trolling me [boom] Last year, it put Mayuyu and Acchan, my two favorite girls, in the same block, and then they actually faced each other in the 2nd round -___- This year, I was looking at the bracket and that was the first thing I looked for. "Phew, different block for Mayuyu and Acchan! Safe!" said my naive self. And then I looked at one name below and I was "......Damn it!!!!!!!" because now she might face Yui in the 2nd round instead. [boom] A year later and girls I really like are still pitted against each other in the 2nd round. You trolling, random drawing, you trolling. And I'm not sure how to feel about Mayuyu against Nakayan in the first round, seeing as they're both members of the Wota 4. On one hand, that might make it harder for them to go against each other since they're such good friends, but on the other hand, that might make for less hard feelings after one beats the other. Will be an interesting September day. My hopeful, ideal, bracket later, back to work for now. Well, I feel stupid now. In hindsight, it kind of makes sense...but yeah, that totally flew over my head.
Kojiharu vs. Takamina Acchan vs. Sayaka Kitarie vs. Tomochin Sasshi vs. Uchii Nakayan vs. Mayuyu and Sae vs. Jurina. Wow, this should be very interesting to see. It'll be worth a couple of lulz to see Saeyaka knock out the 'faces' of two of the xxx48 family.
