Today...Spain vs Portugal...some friends (and some 'friends', like CR7 and half of the Spanish team, that half that plays in Barcelona [hehe]) will meet on the field...

I haven't really been watching the Euro Cup, but my dad and my sister have, so I haven't lost the track on what's going on. Truth is, I'm more interested in ice hockey. Football is kinda boring (that's just my opinion, please respect it).
But I have to admit that I'm cheering for Italy, mostly because I have relatives there (in the country, not in the team). And I also cheer for Germany, again for the relatives. So as for the Italy vs. Germany match, I don't pick sides. As for Spain vs. Portugal... well, it's kinda like ice hockey with Sweden vs. Finland, Spain being Sweden and Portugal being Finland, so if all the Spaniards here excuse me, I'll cheer for Portugal^^

Oh, I thought Finland was a better ice hockey team than Sweden...

Well, we are, I meant that the constant rivalry between Finland and Sweden is similar to that of Spain and Portugal. Or at least that's the image I've got.

I don't think there is a big rivalry between Spain and Portugal. I guess it's like USA and Mexico, they are rivals in a lot of things, but if we speak about basketball, for example, the difference is too big so they can't be regarded as rivals... France, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, England...those are the real rivals...

I almost thought there were going to be NO goals last night when they missed the first two penalties. I reckon Germany are gonna go through tonight...

Yup! Yeah, shocked about Germany. Italy were playing really well and even dominating in the last 10-15 minutes. Last minute penalty could have done something, and it was funny seeing Germany's goalie play in the opponent's half.

Well, some people prefer to save the best 'specialist' for the fifth penalty (which is often the most important) and some prefer to begin with him to put the pressure on the other team... :dunno:
Yes, I believed the final would be Spain vs Germany, but Italy is often a surprising guest... [hehe] However, if they play like they did in the other match, it might be a boring final... [sweat]
PS: maybe the german goalkeeper could have done something more...or at least pretend to... :^^;:

This would be interesting seeing the enhanced Italy, winner of WC 2006 against Spain, winner of WC 2010. I am starting to like that striker Balotelli (not homosexually!) and would love to see him passing the wall-mid formation from Spain :awesome: I personally cannot predict the result of the final but something might surprise us when the game has started. But still, I'm hoping for Spain as the winner [party]

    Yeah, it's so funny :D
Even, if Matt Hummels didn't have a foul in last two minutes, Neuer might give an equaliser goal... [wonder]
I don't think Germany played badly....they are just lack of finishing quality.

PS: I still believe that the final will be boring (well, a final is always interesting, but I mean that the game will be bad)...I hope I'm wrong...

Yeah, Balotelli's kinda slicky. I'm all for Italy now, but I still can't say I like Balotelli much. What was with that taking off the shirt thing? You get a warning from that, for crying out loud. And I can tell as a girl, not a pretty sight. Non mi piace, no me gusta, en tykännyt, did not like it (ten points to the first person to figure out the languages I used xD)

The first one is Italian and the tykannyt is finnish [hehe]

    lol
well, ofc Balotelli doesn't have that much good looking unlike Fabregas nor Torres :hehe: . But he in this tournament is somebody that cannot be underestimated.
