Sad news (rumor)

Apparently during HS (Yokohama I believe), some guy tried to propose to Maimai with a ring

Maimai ended up crying because she didn't know how to respond to the situation

Personally, I think the guy is a thoughtless idiot but... I guess I understand how he feels

It will be me who will eventually put a collar... er, ring on her!

I'm not blaming the guy. I mean, there's someone who jumped on stage during Kana Hanazawa's fan meeting once ans proceed to propose her before staff take him out.

That take guts, and hey love do make people stupid.
I would be confused as well i'm Maimai. How to refuse that guy but at the same time did not hurt him?

 

Well it's less creepy that the guy that proposed to Iwata Karen but this man needs a reality check ASAP.

Hello, I recently found myself getting more interested in MaiMai!

Are there any episodes of Nogizakatte/Nogibingo/etc that feature her prominently? I want to see more of her~

 

hmm .. she is not really prominent in variety show, so im not sure. Try nogibingo mosou request episode..

 

I think she's featured rather well in nogibingo lol, so try there. she also co-host Sonireco with kazu, but this is a conversation-heavy show with no English subs available atm unfortunately. there are a few eps of Sonireco that's enjoyable even without subs tho; the ones where sayurin went on & they basically do more activities lol

 

I subbed 2 episodes of Sonireco back when I had a break from other duties. It's in the forum thread for subbed videos. I never did finish the series (Sonireco is a weekly show, and each month is a series of episodes with a certain guest). Maybe I should go finish it...

Maimai also has ミラノミラン which is 99% just a narration job, but there were a few episodes where she actually went on a location shoot (not to Milan... just to some Italian eateries around Japan).

And though it's not exactly variety, she starred in 福岡恋愛白書.

Beyond that, I guess there's radio. All the Nogis get rotated in to do radio shows quite a bit, so Maimai has a few appearances there.

Maimai didn't have much in the documentary. She pretty much only appeared in Nanamin's chapter.

The two of them shared a room from the very beginning of Nogi. And every morning Maimai would be the one to wake up her problem-child.

Since Nanamin is said to be one of the hardest Nogi member to wake in the morning, I really want to catch a glimpse of how MaiMai woke her up so both of them could make it to the job in time.
