Yup, I knew about the show48 few years back. I just thought there is a new one.

 

I don't really post much, and only recently got into AKB again after Miichan's gradcon, but I subbed the Takamina Produced Chaos Stage from 2016 just kind of for fun in my spare time over the last few months so I thought I'd share it. What exactly made that stage chaos?

before her grad Takamina produced several themed stages including the chaos stage, and idol stage. a Kojima haurna stage among others

 

My favourite one of those Takamina produced stages was the dance senbatsu stage. It is a much underappreciated talent within the group, I find, and it gave some time to shine for the members who are amazing dancers. Especially my beloved 12th Gen (Hirari, Tanochan, Karen). Moe, Manami and Ami. Yuria. HKT's Motomura Aoi (granted, I didn't even appreciate her enough myself until she appeared on Produce 48). Jurina and Sae are not underappreciated members, but they were amazing too,

10/10 would recommend.

News of a Panasonic event on 11/7 from 10:00 JST involving AKB48 members:

The aim is to set a new Guinness World Record for the greatest vertical distance climbed on a rope by a non-rechargeable battery powered robot. There'll be 'cheering parties' which will include YuiYui, Yuiri and Zukkii as well as former member Ishida Haruka. The event will be broadcast live at the following link:

Honestly the Chaos stage was probably my least favourite because of Kinoshita's relentless attention-whoring.

I liked the staff stage, that was fun seeing all the backstage people incompetently singing and dancing. The Okurairi stage was good because of Rider's co-centre graduates coming back to perform with some of the younger up-and-coming members.

And the Saturday Night Stage was unintentionally hilarious because of Pararu's utter manifest disinterest in the whole thing.

From 11/02, 8pm JST, AKB48 will start a new weekly show on 17LIVE: " AKB48 kōhō Yamane Suzuha to○ ○ na 2 nin " (AKB48 広報 山根涼羽と○○な2人)

A show hosted by Suzuha, where she invites 2 members, and talks about their relationships and various other things.

AKB48 will be included in the line-up of acts for this year's edition of 'Best Hits Kayosai' which after a gap of two years will be broadcast on 11/11 on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV:

Thank you for the band which provide some of the best if not the best arrangements of these overplayed songs. It simply makes them enjoyable again.
