Yep, probably in a desperate effort to find someone with Shinoda Mariko's charm without realizing they already have that on a countryside girl with the name Ghaida

 

about this matter, i think it's because at that time,
not many people aware about JKT48's audition
(and to think that AKB48 is not very popular in Indonesia)

Many advertising about their audition spread only from mouth-to-mouth,
and local 48 forum (no media coverage), even I doubt the truth about this 48 project at first

Due to the lack of participant, the management extend the audition time, and extend the age limit too,
and I think they also offer the opportunity to girls who already in entertainment industry before,

Well there were a lot of people who knows about this audition and interested to joining in, but unfortunately , those who knows are mainly those with a stick between their legs

Joking aside, I think these girls are doing great currently , sparking a legion of butthurts everywhere just because they are non-Japanese which means more exposure which is good. I don't think people were this "Hardcore Japanophile" crazy when Coconut Musume having their first debut or have time changes since my 18's ?

I don't mind any overseas group at all, good music is good music no matter if it is a cover version or anything at all as long as they perform it decently.

Back to topic, does anyone seen the full PV of JKT48 - Heavy Rotation yet in HD ? I've found one on YouTube but it's 480p max.

 

AKB48's voices sounds more cute because of their accent and those are their voice's character . And i love that JKT48 don't try to make their voices sound alike Japanese Both of them have different culture but have same great songs

It's like the Indonesian translation from kimi no koto ga suki dakara although different at the part of "Kimi no koto ga suki dakara"

 

I think "karena kusuka dirimu" is actually the closest to the translation.

who determines the commercials that JKT48 models for? [puke]

honestly, their second CM was horrible... huge backlash from the WOTA's in Indonesia. what was it shot with a handycam and no budget? how embarrassing, especially considering their first CM was awesome and sparked a lot of interest in the group. their third CM is for tampons? come on maaaaaannnnnnn

Who ? well it's all depends on what offers the management received and then they decided which one to partake in.

The third CM is technically pads not tampons . While the 2nd CM is an utter disappointment , I don't really mind the 3rd actually as long as the CMs got some qualities into it.

As for qualities for the CM , it's not on JKT48's management field of work, it's entirely third party like mate.

Who are they?

 

7 important people of the group. Like Acchan, Takamina, Yuko, Haruna, Watamayu, Kashiyuki, ShinoMariko.
I only know that Melody takes Acchan spot and being center of JKT48 but how about another people?

 

Although there has been no official statement..
I think some of member that "maybe" included as JKT48 Kami7 are Cleo, Nabilah, Shania.
Cleo --> often became the spokesperson when JKT48 perform in many music show on TV
Nabilah --> the youngest member that have the most number of fans than another members
Shania --> when audition, Shania, Cleo, Melo were given star by Aki-P on their audition form..Maybe she looks special in the eyes of Aki-P (there was a video that show it but unfortunately the video is no longer available http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdZwtLlwgmE)

 

How bout Ghaida... She's my oshimen in JKT :3

 

When I look her, she looks like JKT48's Sae
She's very energetic when dance and talk anything about Japan (anime, Japan music, etc)

If she continues to keep his spirits and many people support her, I think in the future she will become one of JKT48 Kami7.

So, i think she was already popular before becoming JKT48
But as a JKT48 member, I still don't know much of her..
I only know that:
- She was called "Miss Hungry of JKT48" although she had often tried to diet
- She support Manchester United
