this is quite a good thing as china alone has many people as the world and i think anime and jpop idol arent uncommon there. however, i really hope the manaagment doesnt slightly think to open a nogi branch there..

So, it just announced that Hinatazaka 4th single will be released on Feb 19. So, is there a possibility that Nogi 25th will be after that? Like, early March? It doesn't seem Nogi 25th will be released before Hinata, cause Keya mostly will release their 9th at that time.

 

Hi! I am new to Nogizaka (and hopefully to the other groups shortly). Could you tell me if the group is targeted more to male or female audience? I’d guess male because of gravures and "cute girls doing cute things" stuff… but I know there is this social phenomena in Japan with young girls really looking up to older, beautiful and popular girls, so they could be the target as well

 

The target audience is essentially male, but I believe Nogizaka (or maybe sakamichi as a whole) attracts a higher female fan base than other idol groups. However, I don't know if that is taken into account when it comes to marketing etc. Management has proven earlier that they don't care that much about fans who fall outside the scope of their target audience.

 

I think they definitely skew stronger to both a female audience and an older audience than a lot of idol groups, and certainly they're a lot less gravure-y than most which probably contributes to that. And the fact that you've got members like Maiyan and the others who model who are very fashionable and glamorous which. . . girls are going to look up and aspire to.

 

Definitely mostly male but there are a lot of female fans (but they are a minority).

Of all the female idol groups, Keyaki probably has the most female fans.

 

Maybe but it is not a great difference . Nogizaka have the advantage that is the group with more models in magazines, magazines that are popular with young women, so the fandom of nogizaka in japan is balanced between male and female.

 

Wonder when Nogi will bring back their Xmas lives.

That's a bummer, but I guess they went for the safe option.

 

Synchronicity was the song that should've been in last year's Kouhaku, had it not been for all the Nishino Nanase graduation activities late last year!

Was predicting Sing Out! but at least Synchronicity finally makes the Kouhaku appearance I've been waiting for a year late.

 

I love Synchronicity so I'm not mad. Hopefully we get new costumes.

 

I was hoping Sing Out! with full member but Synchronicity is a good choice too. Like @ryandtw said, Synchronicity should've been performed on last year Kouhaku.
