    Also, any thoughts about Sakurazaka46 rumors? Take them with a grain of salt.

    Not really, I'm actually happy to see Nanase lower than I expected and Shiraishi, once again, as the established absolute face of Nogizaka for the GP, even if she's never been like that for management, which makes that achievement even more impressive.

    Silent Majority is a wall. And I reckon Hinata's debut Kyun might've made the list too if management hadn't majorly delayed releasing the MV on Youtube (same thing happened with Keyaki's 8th).

    Data on TV ratings of the flagship Sakamichi TV shows (Nogizaka Koujichuu, Keyakitte Kakenai, Hinatazaka De Aimashou):

    This Twitter account tweets the ratings for the three shows going back to April 2019: https://twitter.com/Youta_Masuda
    For example, on July 26, 2020:
    Nogichuu: 2.0%
    Keyakake: 1.7%
    Hinaai: 1.6%

    Converting TV ratings to the estimated number of people who watched is tricky, and I checked out some of the rather bare-bones explanations on the Video Research site: https://www.videor.co.jp/tvrating/
    which is the only company that does TV/radio ratings in Japan.

    TV ratings like the ones from the Twitter account that I pasted above is the percentage of TV-owning households that watched that show in real-time (on average over the time slot of the show). According to this NTV document from 2006: https://www.ntvhd.co.jp/ir/library/annual/pdf/2006_6.pdf
    there are about 48 million households with TVS in Japan (so ~2.6 people per household, assuming that the number of households without a TV is negligible). There is also "time shift" TV ratings, which is the percentage of households that recorded the show and watched it later, "individual" TV ratings, which is a newer method where Video Research tries to get a % rating for more detailed data on the number of individuals (not households) watching the TV, and "number of viewers," which is another Video Research estimate of the number of individuals watching the show. For example, for the TBS Ongaku No Hi (Day of Music) that aired on July 18, 2020 (on which all three Sakamichi groups performed on), Video Research says that from 2PM to 7PM, it had a (household) rating of 9.9% and an "individual" rating of 5.3% and from 7PM to 12AM, it had a (household) rating of 13.6% and an "individual" rating of 8.7%: https://i.imgur.com/BdeFxy3.png
    And also says that from 2PM to 12AM, it had a "number of viewers" of 8.3 million: https://i.imgur.com/gZCdEks.png
    (For some reason this one doesn't split the show into two parts. The other numbers are: 55 million people who saw the show for at least 1 minute (the "reach" of the show) and 28 networks across the country on which the show aired.) For example, if we take the 8.3 million viewer estimate and divide by the population of Japan 126.5 million, we get 6.6%, which is consistent with the "individual" ratings as 6.6% lies between the 5.3% and 8.7% "individual" ratings for the two halves of the show.

    Since the above example is weird with one statistic splitting the show into two halves and the other statistic only being calculated for the whole show, if we use a different show, バズリズム02 (Buzzrhythm) that aired on July 17, 2020, it had a household rating of 3.0%, "individual" rating of 1.5%: https://i.imgur.com/fKqqT8t.png and "number of viewers" of 1.2 million: https://i.imgur.com/10SpNJh.png
    So it looks like 1% of household ratings --> 0.4 million "number of viewers" or 0.5% "individual" ratings (126 million * 0.5% ≈ 0.6 million viewers), at least for Buzzrhythm.

    Using that, for July 26, we get:
    Nogichuu: 2.0% --> 0.8 - 1.2 million viewers
    Keyakake: 1.7% --> 0.68 - 1.02 million viewers
    Hinaai: 1.6% --> 0.64 - 0.96 million viewers

    This page graphed 2019 (household) ratings data for the three Sakamichi shows, getting its data from the National Diet Library: https://enterprise-research.hatenablog.com/entry/2019/12/21/233426

    Nogichuu graph with some notes on episodes that had higher or lower ratings than usual (from left to right: New Year's 1-Hour Special; aired 60-minutes late due to table tennis championships; drawing skill check; aired 30-minutes late due to French Open tennis; aired 28-minutes late due to a special program on elections; summer holiday goal presentation; unfortunate stories grand prix): https://i.imgur.com/T72dXSh.png
    Hinaai graph with some notes on episodes that had higher or lower ratings than usual (aired 30-minutes late due to table tennis championships; decorated bento box competition; aired 35-minutes late due to French Open tennis; no episode aired; BBQ on-location shoot part 2; aired 28-minutes late due to a special program on elections): https://i.imgur.com/hE00VDS.png
