SGO48 2nd Generations auditions have been announced. 2nd Gen members will be announced May 17th, 2020.

 

This is like JKT's approach, their 1st and 2nd gen members coincides both as trainees, unless they make Team SIII before the 2nd gen debuts

 

They'll probably gonna promote majority of 1st gen if they create team SIII, unless they take a bit longer and decided to create both team SIII and GII together

 

SGO48 will attend VLive Year End Party 2019. Event for many popular vietnamese artists and they also invite Kpop artists as well. Monsta X and HyunA will be there.

They can be seen in the documentaries practicing Ponyshu since around the first single, although they never have it released in any form.
It seems to be performance-only so far, I remember they did it once in AKB48 Asia Festival Shanghai.

SNH48's version of Ponytail to Shushu Music Video is better than the original one with AKB48 because SNH48 emphasize the jiggly boobs, have more close up shots of their boobs and butt and the girls have tiny tight bikinis. SNH48 has even added a kissing scene at 2:56 on the version

I hope it will be better than those videos for SGO48 bikini Music Videos with even more longer close up of the boobs and butts, jiggly boobs and even more tiny tight bikinis.

Why haven't BNK48 (Bangkok48 - Thailand), JKT48 (Jakarta48 - Indonesia) and MNL48 (Manilla48 - Philippines) released Music Videos with bikinis ?

 

They will be bashed to disband.

 

SGO48 is viewed by many as a group that play song styled for children and teenagers. A bikini MV may be a shock. Also Vietnamese parents can be very puritanical. I think a bikini MV, at least in the near future, is quite unlikely.

 

Yeah maybe not in the near future but maybe a bit later. But they kissed already on public performances and it hasn't speak any controversial debate :

My parents are both Chinese and Vietnamese so my parents might not be the best example.

Are Chinese parents less puritanical than the Vietnamese parents ?

 

JKT can't and will never do a bikini MV unless they want to get banned and shunned by public. Indonesia is a country with one of the biggest moslem community in the world. It's always been kinda social norm (plus the rising of traditional islamic value lately) for woman to not wear revealing clothes (altho they actually can and many do that but it's different case when you're a celebrity). There was a big ruckus over blackpink ads by the extremist moslem community because they wear hot pants in the ads, if that happen with just hot pants imagine what would happen with a bikini MV lol. Plus I don't think making bikini MV is something that's generally acceptable to do in SEA and it'll just make the general public view to fans worst than before. Imagine watching a grown ass man watching girls under 18 dancing in a bikini.

I really love the fact they put gay couple in KFC MV and keep the "gay" part in SGO festival, does being gay is kinda acceptable in there?

 

Here is a Chinese parody of the Vietnamese boys band HKT which is hated in Vietnam because they plagiarized a lot but HKT became famous with the Chinese community (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and oversea). HKT copied the Visual Kei style. The Chinese found the HKT Music Video prefer the HKT Music Video because the lyrics are better and the Music Video is funny. The Chinese found their haircut fascinating and funny. HKT are crazy, weird and funny. The Chinese still continue to make a lot of parodies of HKT today.

I think that most Chinese and Vietnamese are like : "Ho, they are homosexuals, ha, okay". And that's it. They don't really care a lot about it.

 

Lmao your last 2 examples even get tons of bashing in Vietnam because of Dammei copycat (and skin-exploding performance), only some Shonen Ai/dammei fangirls are crazy of these MVs. If you want to choose a LGBT MV which is welcomed by public, I recommend "Sang mat chua" by Truc Nhan. He is a sweetie, unlike Nguyen Tran Trung Quan who is hated due to LGBT image's overusing (and mostly his unpatriotic action) . To avoid out of topic, Anna posted a selfie with Nguyen Tran Trung Quan on Facebook and a lot of fans show their anger. It got enough blackflash for Anna (or staff) to delete this picture and I think it's a good move. I hope YAG wouldnt do this kinds of PR again. They should attach SGO girls with others who have public-friendly images.

LGBT is NOT a big deal in Vietnam but Wearing bikini in a MV IS. I dont know why you demand seeing them wearing bikini. To create public-friendly image, girls should avoid this kind of clothes as much as possible. Yes there are some celebs in Vietnam who are famous for bikini such as Ngoc Trinh but her image is not "clean" at all. Do you want to see your idols got bashing with words like "slutty" or "Jav girls"? Because I'm so sure that this would be the way many muggles call them if YAG released a bikini mv

I dont even know about Phuong Chi and I also think 99% Vietnamese dont know about her too. It's normal for any girls work in Japanese idol business do gravure but it's a big NO in Vietnam. ( I even see a lot of Japanese fans hate bikini shots, especially fangirls. For example, my kamioshi is kinda a big name in idol world recently, the most popular one in her group, but she hasnt released photobook yet because not only she and mngm but also her fandom, which is created mostly by fangirls, is against this skin-showing idea.)

While bikini / gravure shots are made for male fans, A lot of Vietnamese guys have a stereotype that "Japan" + "Bikini" = "JAV" and I dont want girls heard these words. Of couse you can wear anything you want to wear in Vietnam but if you want SGO become big name, a public friendly group, let them out of bikini routine.

 

To put it simply bikini MV is off the table, even AKB hasn't put out Bikini MV since Labrador Retriever
