In October 2020, Makina Taniguchi and Akari Fukuda, first-year students with a connection to Tokushima Prefecture, took office.

"The idol group "STU48" based in the seven prefectures of Setouchi has been communicating the charm of Setouchi through community-based activities since March 2017, when it was born as the sixth AKB48 sister group in Japan. One of them is "Tokushima LOVE Supporter", which disseminates the charm of Tokushima Prefecture to the whole country. On the 10th, STU48, an idol group based in the seven prefectures of Setouchi , started the "Thank you! STU48 tour" at Naka Pier C Bath in Kobe Port, Hyogo Prefecture.

Since April 2019, Japan's first shipboard theater "STU48" has been active as a performance base, but the role will end on the 23rd of next month. This is the last tour.

"Thank you! STU48 Tour" is scheduled for 16 performances. From now on, it will visit Kagawa, Okayama, Tokushima, Ehime, and Yamaguchi, and the last performance will be held at the home port, Hiroshima International Ferry Port on May 23.
