Miki is in love and gets her first kiss (on tv).

"On AbemaTV, from 11:00 on Saturday, September 7th, act.5 of “I want to love a love drama-Kiss to survive” was broadcasted to the kiss scene between actress Miki Nishino and actor Daichi Yamaguchi. There was a response.

The program is a romantic reality show where young actors chase “falling in true love” while filming a love drama with a “kiss scene”

In episode 5, at a home party with university circle friends, we performed a youth love drama that quietly exchanged a “secret kiss” after everyone fell asleep and an audition that took the lead role.

    Miichan even twitted about it.

    "I watched Dora Koi for the first time, but it's a great program! ! ! ! ! Miki's kiss! ! ! ! ! !"

The programme is called "Rennai Drama na Koi ga Shitai ~Kiss to survive~" (adding that since Google Translate obviously tends to translate titles). Which means "I want love like in a romance drama ~Kiss to survive~"

Am I mistaken or was Miki in the 2019 LDK live action movie? It was a tiny role but I Googled it and found nothing. Definitely seemed like her.

Miki is on Kojima Mako's Youtube Channel's latest episode. I think they are asking questions of one another from a book and not doing well. Without subs, I'm kinda lost.

Richard, I mentioned the video of two Bakas in the previous post. The book is about using Japanese properly (especially in advance of the Olympics). From what I can gather from the Amazon Japan page, people who use a lot of SNS (twitter, etc) tend not to use Japanese correctly (the same as in English speaking countries). The two are testing each other's knowledge of Japanese using examples from the book.

@sscria, thanks for that. We non-Japanese language speakers have a tough time with a lot of AKB videos. I could not figure out what they were trying to do in that video. I watched it only because Miki and Mako are so cute. Thanks again.

I don't speak Japanese either, but the description under the video talked about what they were doing and gave a link to the book on Amazon. In both cases I was using the Chrome browser which will Google translate for you. In the video, you can see "this Japanese" or "that Japanese" on the screen, and one person has to choose what they think is correct.

That's good to know. Thank you. SGO48 has a brand-new show--- kind of a ''get to know your newest idols'' type of show. It's called Pinker School and they have their first eight episodes on Youtube and every episode has English subtitles and the subtitles are excellent. Very very well-done. I see that and I get disappointed that AKB can't help us out in the same fashion. The Vietnamese idols are absolutely adorable, by the way.

Miki started a diet on 1st October. I will try to translate her blog posts related to it, because it's interesting to follow her thoughts, progress and hardwork! Here's the first one when she made the decision and explained why, it's from the end of September.

    Determination.

    Everyone...

    I decided.

    On December 1st,
    "Summer Style Awards"
    ... I will attend it

I was really worried about participating...

Even when I lose weight, I'm scared to rebound after that.

At first, the reactions are great,
but then I can't stop myself from eating even when I'm full...

    I hate that...

    Then I remembered something important

"Ah, right, January is the adult ceremony"

I will be meeting friends after a long time at the adult ceremony
is it ok to be so fat...

I was shocked when I saw my face on the camera

    002.jpg

    *Shockー*.

    This double chin..
If I go to the adult ceremony with this much fat...
I will just be ashamed. LOL

Besides, I want to be told....
"As expected the girls going to Tokyo get cute❤️❤️"

    I want to be told...
    "It's been a while I didn't see you, you became really cute❤️"

    I want to be told....
"You look 100 times cuter than when seeing you on TV❤️"

If I'm the same as now..
"As expected you're ugly... you shouldn't go on TV"
    is what I will hearーーーー

If I'm participating in Summer Style Awards, I have to lose weight!!!

    There is no choice!

    It's my destiny!!!

    But one problem is...

One month after the Summer Style Awards, it's the adult ceremony.

Will I have a rebound during that time...

    The last time,
I gained 5 kilos in 10 days. LOL

If I rebound, these efforts will all lose their meaning T_T

So this time, I will keep it!!!
I will lose weight, keep it, and become a woman that girls look up to!!!

I have to do my best...

    I will make efforts
I will post on my blog and Instagram about my exercises and diet,
for people who are thinking "I want to lose weight! I want to diet!"
I hope I can help even a little!

I will be on serious mode starting October.

I can eat and drink for 2 more days LOL
    ↑Start your diet now LOL

    Please look forward to it!!

I hate to see Miki so stressed out by her eating issues. And her yo-yoing weight brought on by over-eating and starvation diets will continue to plague her until she can get things under control. She needs a life partner who she will listen to and who will guide her through this stage. I don't like what I'm reading about her current mindset.

The good thing about Miki is that she knows how to diet, she doesn't starve herself (like a lot of people do), she eats more healthy and exercise and her diets work. The bad thing is that she has yo-yo effect... I hope she can find the balance this time so that she doesn't need to diet again and she can find confidence. Some people support her and diet together with her too.

    October 1st.
2 months of diet start now!

I was surprised when I saw my weight this morning.
    56kg...
    It's so bad.

My goal is to lose 10kg before the Summer Style Awards in December 1st!

And for the adult ceremony in January, I want to look cute when wearing kimonoー

I certainly don't want to pick on Miki. She's a sweetheart and was one of my favorite members, but I have to reiterate here: The fact that she feels compelled to announce her diet plans on social media troubles me a tad. If she could just make herself eat healthy 12 months a year, she wouldn't have to go on a diet for two or three months a year. ''Diets'' don't work long-term. They are simply temporary, VERY temporary, weight drops. Folks who ''diet'' invariably put the weight back on 95% of the time because no one can live their entire lives on a diet and feel good about themselves. Again, I'm, don't want to appear critical of Miki in this instance, but her thinking to me appears to be wrong-headed and, somewhat, immature. But I do wish her well in her plans to get and stay healthy.

I would disagree that diets don't work. I went on a diet in 2016 and I lost 20kg, and after starting to eat more normal again (easing into it though), I only gained 5kg back and have also lost those again since then by going on another diet a year ago. I'm eating normal and keeping my weight now. Miki is 2 years younger than me and I think when you're younger, your weight fluctuates a lot more and I think the reason why I'm keeping my weight now is because I'm not a teenager anymore.

That being said, I do hope that she is happy with herself. It doesn't seem to work for her very much because she gains the weight back. 56kg seems like a really small number to me and I'm only 12cm taller than Miki, but I guess proportions matter (if you have a flat chest and/or backside, 56kg on 156cm will look 'worse' than on a person of the same height with a bigger butt or chest).

I'm no expert so I may be completely wrong but I would assume that eating healthy and working out, even if it's only for a certain amount of time, is still better than if she never went on a diet at all or changed her eating habits. I have bad phases where I could eat junk food all the time and I assume it would be worse if I just kept on eating that without ever setting any restrictions for myself, even if it's only for a week or a month and then I have junk food again.
