Okawa Rio (Riorin) / 15th Generation

I grew to like her after reading Yukarun's posts about her. Actually, I didn't know her name before. She really blends in the back... But the more I learn about Riorin, the more I love her ! She seems shy, but she's also so cute and pretty. I want to see more of her ! And what about her G+ ? The counter is always set on +0... Is it broken or does she really never get a single knew follower ?!

 

Riorin will be absent for 4 weeks due to an injury in her right leg.

You can see her kneebrace in the vid. Glad to see her back at the Janken taikai. Hope she's fully healed to appear in with the new team 4. Her last theater appearance was in April before her injury and her year wraps up with better luck.

 

I met Riorin at the Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai handshake in August - she is just so lovely in person. I had won tickets and earlier was questioning that decision as she had fallen out of my kami-7. However, I am so glad I met her - she's definitely back in. Conversation as follows (2 tickets)
Riorin: (she saw me and her eyes went wide) Ehh~! Arigato
Me: (I know its so boring to tell an idol that she's cute, but Riorin is absolutely adorable in person and all my Japanese flew out of my brain, so forgive me) Ahh, Riorin is so cute!
Riorin: (excitedly) Thank you!! (nods at me) Kawaii~
Me: (slightly flustered) Ahh, thank you! I love Team 4~ Is your injury (indicated by wild flailing in the direction of her injury's location on my body, very elegant I know) better?
Riorin: Yes! Thank you~ Where did you come from?
Me: London!
Riorin: (again with the wide eyes) Amazing!
Me: (end of my tickets) Ahh, byebye! I'll return!
Riorin: (still holding my hand) Byebye!

She is honestly so, so cute in person, and ridiculously underappreciated. I seriously hope she's given a good position in the new Team 4 stage.

Too bad I can't watch this just yet. Got to be up at butt-hurt early in the morning for some meetings unfortunately.

I miss her on stage. Can't wait till she returns to performing.

 

Became a fan after she dressed up like a member of NO NAME at a Janken tournament.

So glad Bingo! has her on a bit more lately. Too bad her Lune chara was decimated by the Eternal Boys!!

 

Riorin will come back to the AKB theater for the Ichigo-chanzu Stage on 18th February.
She has already performed a little bit in the Request Hour 2016 in January, but it will be the first long performance since her injury.
