    wow. big fail for me. i can't believe i designed the banner using the old stage48 banner dimensions. :XD: what was i thinking?!

    OMG! It's a dream come true :cry: I've heard of a couple JAV idols who released singles (albeit quite gimmicky) during their career, I hope Rina does too! She'll always be my favorite AKB singer :inlove:

    Her newest AV is called [STAR296] av debut to av retirement super idol – riko yamaguchi.
    Does it mean she's gonna retire from AV?
    It would be awesome if she did and returned into music industry! [party]

    I think I've heard that her current DVD-deal is just for 7 releases... so maybe she's done with AV-ing?

    Maybe she was just doing it to get a bit of money and completely smash her 'im a good virginal girl' image? If she's talented enough it'd be nice to see her get a few indies singles then go back into SDN48. Come on, why not? If not, maybe she can join Ebisu Muscats. xD

    ^ But won't it like harm her entire image instead? [wonder] Being an AV star is something most people look down on, so if she wants to go back into the music industry I don't think people will take her. So she won't do something so extreme just to smash her 'innocent girl' image. And 48 groups most likely won't take her again, they didn't like the idea of her going into AV in the first place.

    ^ Not necessarily, take Iijima Ai's example. AV turned variety hostess. She even became a figure younger women looked upon (not knowing her AV past of course). I've heard some that attributed the ganguro thing to her. She wrote her own book and got big enough to get into social situations with their prime minister then... She was quite prolific for someone with AV roots. Too bad she died from what suspiciously looks like AIDS.... :fear:

    I wonder if Rinatin was a fan... :fear:

    I assume that she had just wanted to do it (for money? for fun? We'll never know.) and maybe she'll go back to singing? I'm crossing my fingers. I feel like with how popular she was in AV, combined with AKB's brilliant successes, she can get some sort of record deal. I mean, talent and looks are a non-issue for her.

    I just want indie singles.

    She raised her popularity a lot with AV, everybody was talking about her when the news came out. Maybe that was the reason why she did it? And now that she's so popular she can go back to singing and it might definitely be a hit as well.

    True... okay maybe she can still be successful in the music industry, but I still don't think Aki-P will take her into the 48 groups. When she got into AV they complained that what she was doing was damaging the image of AKB48. When she graduated, she signed a contract not to do anything that will damage the image of AKB for 2 years, from what I know. So I won't get my hopes up of her getting into any of the 48 groups. She does have a chance of getting successful in the music industry though, according to your example. :D

    Read somewhere that Rina's AV contract will expire soon and that she's going to take singing lessons to pursue her singing career!

    Let's hope Aki-P will swallow his "pride" and let her back in into AKB, at least for the annual shows.

    What was Rinatin's goal/dream? From the AKB documentary, we hear about some goals / dreams of the other members, but I don't know what the dreams/goals are for the graduated members... Is hers to become a singer?
