I just saw this on Weekly Playboy's website:

AKB48 members planned to appear in the 2/15 issue are Maeda Atsuko, Oshima Yuko, Kojima Haruna, Itano Tomomi, Watanabe Mayu, Matsui Jurina and Shimazaki Haruka.

... Well it's clear they want to push this girl like heck, all the other members appearing are pretty much the top of senbatsu and a lot of current popular members haven't even appeared in WPB in an AKB shoot before. I bet she'll start appearing on the TV shows soon.

Dang it. She's probably going to end up being the next Jurina or Komori and I'm going to end up getting sick of her really fast. It's frustrating because she's not even that good of a performer and there's a lot of girls that are better than she is that probably deserve it more than her (the promoted members, I mean, not the Kenkyuusei). =/ On the plus side, I never really got the feeling that she didn't try like a certain someone (just that she wasn't very good), so that's good, I guess. XD

Why couldn`t they have chosen Atsuki instead?

Seen some pics that people have taken with her, she looks pretty cute, unlike the Playboy cover with the senbatsu members where she looked just akward.

Bumping this thread just to point out that she reminds me of Mano Erina a LOT. I seriously can't think of one of them without thinking of the other.

She looks like a more deranged Manoeri, though, because Paruru looks like she'll kill you in your sleep.

maybe they're playing it careful now to make sure people don't get angry about her being pushed too much?
For me she wasn't that good in the beginning but she's really evolved into someone who is cute and can perform! =D Obviously management saw this before I did ^^"

Even though she got amazingly high in the election, unfortunately it seems like she isn't even in the top half of popularity of the 9th gen anymore D:

She is, however, going to be on the cover of a magazine Shosetsu Houseki in the issue released 1/22 (Feb issue). Reinyan is the cover girl for the issue out right now.

As for the post I made in her thread earlier, I actually don't mind her much anymore. I mean, I kinda disliked her at first, but after seeing them perform A5, she's grown on me.

she is getting prettier and cuter day by day and i cannot believe some of you guys call her a deranged version of mano erina, paruru reminds me a younger + cuter version of shimatani hitomi...
