My 2000th post on this forum! I was watching the post count close in on 2000, and thought I would do something special with #2000....obviously in Mayuyu's thread. [party]

After being drawn in first by Mayu's beauty and then subsequently what I call her "kanpeki (perfect) cuteness" personality all the way back in 2008, I didn't think I could like this girl any more than at that point, since she had already defeated Queen Acchan in her bid for my #1 oshi spot (Team B oshi, indeed ) But following her 2000 posts in, this cyborg still never fails to capture my heart more and more with her actions. Some of them are just really simple actions like doing random things in the background while other people are talking (things only Mayuyu would do [angel] ) to hugging and dancing with the Hikari TV mascot while on stage during the Tokyo Aki Matsuri despite everyone calling your name to come back [rofl], everything just makes me smile and grin.

Then there's bigger things like always giving it her all during performances, no matter how unimportant such as just random B5 stages. It's easy for idols to tire of performing the same songs over and over again (and noticeable in some girls ), but Mayuyu is always energetic and prancing all around the stage. If anything, I feel she got even more hyper for her role in B5....I don't recall seeing her beaming face to face in B3 or B4 like this as she does in B5 She loves her job, she's having fun, and as Akimoto Yasushi said, she was born to be an idol.

Japanese fans notice this too. It's been quoted in interviews that Mayuyu tries hard to remember fans' faces and match it with their names, so that only after 2 handshakes or so with her, she can all you by your name. That is AMAZING [cool] I don't think much people can match her in terms of dedication to fans.

So yeah...in closing, again (I think I said this before somewhere ) I hope Mayuyu always stays true to her real self, the quirky and fun cyborg/girl/idol that she is As the epitome of cute, the top of the world, continue to amuse and attract more fans and help AKB48 prosper. In the time it took me to type 2000 posts, she's grown from mid-senbatsu to one of the the front girls of AKB48. One can only hope she can continue rising

Oh, and I'll take this opportunity to remind everyone that didn't vote yet: the annual stage48 elections for favorite members is ending in a few hrs, so if you haven't given Mayuyu points yet, you're doing it wrong. Haha, no, really, go vote here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2786

still new in remember all the members but Mayu is 1 of the remembers i could say out first
even though she wasn't the first girl that caught my attention.
she sure did in all their variety shows , truly got my attention with the cuteness she's shining off (my opinion )

If you follow the story of the PV, it's the other way. xD

and in real world... I think it's the other way too...

Somehow I see more a Mayuyu -> Yukirin, than a Yukirin --> Mayuyu.

Yeah I think that of the small group of Mayuyu fans we have on s48, we have an especially big presence? Maybe I'm just trying to make myself look good. [rofl]

I'm still kind of mad about Love Jump because Nacchan was non-existent and NACCHAN ;A; but omg Mayuyu was so cute and lovable and Mayuyu and amazing and I LOVE HER MORE AND MORE. SHE'S SUCH A DERP T____T
Also maybe I'm naive or something but I didn't see the relationship as a romantic one. I just thought it was like, Yukirin has a really bothersome friend in Mayuyu but it's okay because Mayuyu is just living her life happily? And thus Yukirin lets loose a bit to have more fun.

The thread is definitely not dead, but in general, I think Japan likes Mayuyu more than international fans do. Well, that's arguable because I think anyone posting in this thread (me, AikyiTaizne, aznnerd, Wendychi, Silver Rain, etc) loves her just as much as Japan does, if not more, but the point is international fans seem to value.....strength? (not sure if right word) more. I mean, look at who's #1 - Takamina, who has strength and leadership in excess. Also, look at Sayaka, who ranks higher here than in Japan. So for people that don't value cuteness as much, they tend to pass Mayuyu by

Also, some don't like her voice, some don't like the speech she made last year in the Senbatsu Election, etc.

We're definitely a very vocal group of fans.....like aznnerd said, you and AikyiTaizne post everywhere, and I...just make very, very long posts.
And yeah, Love Jump was basically what you summarized. Yukirin is a really serious girl who gives her all in everything she does, especially school. So it's no surprise she doesn't have much fun, even using her lunch time to study. Mayuyu, on the other hand, just likes to enjoy life. So while Yukirin's all worrying about the light snow, Mayuyu just rushes out to have fun. And eventually, as they become better friends (Yukirin wants to find out why Mayuyu is just so different), Yukirin learns to lighten up and enjoy life a bit more. Or something like that

Well that's alright, as already mentioned the few of us give off the illusion that there's a whole bunch of Mayuyu fans.

I try to hold back whenever I can, but sometimes it's just too much >.> *cough* sneeze *cough*

I don't really like to post in this thread often though, don't ask me why. I simply read her blog and if I have to spazz I prefer to do it over IM so yeah >_> I can do it much faster and much more annoyingly there!
