Raira is my favorite HKT KKS. She's really cute! I don't know much about her, but I really like her anyway. Her lips remind me of Jurina. Actually, she just reminds me of Jurina ^_^;;

Raira was in Kore Kara recently together with Tomiyoshi Asuka. I don't usually watch this show, but since Raira is one of the girls that's been catching my attention in the LODs, I decided to give it a try.

In this episode the girls were supposed to go through one of those "hunted house" rides in some sort of amusement park while wearing that ridiculous helmet with a camera glued to it. Tomiyoshi went first, then it was Raira's turn. But she was so frightened that she couldn't even go inside. She spent 20 minutes at the door trying to get the courage to enter the place. Finally the director convinced her to go inside, and of course she was crying and scared all the time.

This was a big difference from the image she gives off at the stage. On the stage she's this cool, serious, tall girl who dances to Kiss wa Dame yo. I hope they give more screentime in another show with a more favorable setting.

so apperently Ito Raira had her 100th performance today. I didn't follow HKT48 at the time she is talking about, so the post was really interesting to me and I decided to post up a translation of it.

Also,

today it was my 100th performance！



When I first began performing,

I immediately hurt my leg,

and I had to take a break of about a month and a half、



It was the absolute most important time,

and the gap building between me and everyone else really scared me.

I was incredibly incredibly impatient,

but I wasn’t able to dance energetically at all,

my body just wouldn’t listen to me。





Moreover, even when I returned,

I could feel a gap between me and everyone else in various aspects,

in both performances as well as other work。



And from the fans as well,

I got told 『If you hadn’t taken that break…』。



But it was because of my injury, I didn’t want to do it。





But in this way I did return,

and I had the opportunity to appear at the performances、



Obviously, a lot experiences weren’t there for me,

but I realized that I was improving。





And now, today as well,

I was incredibly glad when many people came to tell me 『Congratulations』♪





From here on out as well,

Even more than now, I will work my utmost hardest, with all my power！
