Kitahara Rie (Kitarie) / AKB48 5th Generation

thanks for clarifying somewhat. I did bring this topic/question up on the Q/A thread, i am so curious. But the more Rie, the better.

 

Rie, to an amazing girl, who in 2008 really did her best and earned her spot on Team A, best wishes to her in 2009!!!

I love Kitarie. After Maimai leaves, she'll be my favorite Team A member. I just love her smile, and she's just too freaking cute! I just had to say it...

She looks nice, but what exactly is "pattsun"?

 

I would also like to declare that Rie is one of my favorite members too! She appealed to me the moment i saw her.

That is a really nice and simple hairstyle, but somehow i feel that her previous one suites her better, she needs to show some forehead to avoid that 'squashed' look

 

Straight cut forelock. "Pattsun" is a sound of scissors.

But back to Rie. I think this hairstyle suits her a lot because she has a somewhat round face. As long as she doesn't cut it short (think Acchan), it doesn't really matter, though.
I'm liking her more recently. Seeing her on Suiensaa (*cough*Depot*cough* /shameless plug) was really nice. She seems smart and she's funny. Too bad they don't give her many chances to show it.

This girl, for some reason, always looks mexican-spanish to me...

 

one thing i did notice is how she does look a bit different racially than some of the other gals. She looks mixed or yeah something else too besides Asian, like Latina too. I think it is her lips, they are very full and her eyes, but i was attracted by her facial features, she sort of has this model type look, i can see her in beauty magazines in a few years.
