Idol Girl Groups to hold a "Cheerleading" contest in June.



MBC has announced that will hold an special "Idol Futsal Championship" with male Idol groups to celebrate de World Cup Brazil 2014. Also in adition to this event will be an special "Cheerleading" contest with girls groups.

Groups like Miss A's Jia and Min, Sistar's Soyou, AOA, After School, TINT, 9Muses, SECRET, Ladies Code, Hello Venus, Dal Shabet, and Bestie will participate in the contest.

Although Cheerleading contest its yet to be confirmed, representatives from MBC said girls are prepearing to film that segment.

The specials Futsal and Cheerleading Championships will be filmed in the end of May and will be broadcasted in June.

AOA (Ace Of Angels), have a sub unit called AOA Black. Born on 2012, this unit its composed by: Jimin, Choa, Yuna, Youkyung, and Mina, this girls performe like rock band.

Their first single was a "black" version of AOA "Get Out" single. Here are the two versions.

Happy 2nd Anniversary Hello Venus!



This May 10th (KST) the fresh and talented group Hello Venus is celebrating its 2nd Anniversary.

On May 9th 2012 the first single "Venus" was released and on May 10th 2012 was its official debuton M! Conutdown.
They released a special mini TV series on 2012 called "The Birth of Venus". A TV show with behind the scene of Hello Venus debut.

T-ara's Jiyeon solo debut has been confirmed for May 20th.

As was informed before a lot of comebacks and releases were put on hold because the Sewol incident. The second teaser for this MV was put on hold too, but soon the new teaser will be released, on May 13th..

A Pink will concentrate in Japanese promotion in the next weeks.



After reciving a great response from japanese fans in a recent fan meeting, A Pink its planning to expand activities in Japan.

According to Cube Entertainment, Mr. Chu promotion will continue untill the end of May, after that A Pink will concetrate in activities in Japan. Media has said in the past that A Pink cute and Innocent look could fit very well in the taste of japanese fans.

A lot of Korean girls groups have a good or moderate success in Japan, but most of them have a sexy and strong image. Few groups work with a cute image like A Pink.

Hello Venus say "Thank You" to the fans, but no new album yet.

This May 10th Hello Venus girls thanks their fans in its Official Facebook page for this 2 years of fandom with some flashback pictures and selfies.

Sure Hello Venus its one of the most fresh and talented rookie groups in the last two years, but in 24 months they released only 3 minialbums. Fans wish the best for this girls but also are hopping for a new minialbum soon. Their last single; Would you stay for tea?(차 마실래?) was released 1 year ago!

BoA New japanese single "MASAYUME CHASING" and Japanese Tour.

BoA, the K-Pop Queen and the inspiration of an entire generation of pop girls in Korea and Japan, return with her new single "MASAYUME CHASING", this song its the new opening song of popular anime Fairy Tail. The single will be released on July 23th.

The single will present 4 versions: 2 CD-DVD Version and 2 CD ONLY Version. One DVD will include the MV and the other will include also the Making of Video. The people who buy both DVD versions can enter a lottery to win a DVD "MASAYUME CHASING-Limited Making-".

Also was announced the new BoA Japanese Tour. BoA's last japanes tour was 4 years ago. The dates so far are this:

KARA officially start recruiting project.



The fate of KARA its official now; they will recruit 2 new members in the near future and try to stay as a 5 members group.

DSP Media and MBC Music started the KARA Projet, a TV Show to star this May 27th at 6:00 pm (KST). This TV Show will show the selection process for the new KARA members. The official Kara Project poster was uploaded on Twitter.
