And while I totally love Miku center, I can't believe mngmt can't place Mirei in front row, among all the current members who have been in front row she's the only one who has been only once. I hope they can change this for next single.

Anyways, I hope it's a great song like the previous single.

Sorry for not being clear lol. It's to be confirmed (TBC) or in other words to be announced (TBA). Just went with TBC. Hinatazaka hasn't had weird english titles for the main track....yet

 

omg Osushi deverses it! Mei finally backs to front row too.
A little bit disappointed that Hinano in third row.

 

Happy with new center, Miku will do great. Not that happy with the rest of senbatsu tbh, but looking forward to the b-side tracklist - and I'm sure the song will be good!

 

I think highschool quiz championship theme song will be included in this single, which Hinano confirmed to be center. Still dont know we have MV for that song.

 

So now they are changing center every single, I expect a new center next or they go back to Kosakana. Osushi is already center material from hiragana days so I am not surprise.
They should do kpop dance. I think it suits them.

I would love to be happy about the formation. Kage in second row is a big Yay and Kumi in second row .. I did not expect them to put her anywhere but third row anytime soon, so I'm happy for those two!
Also, I'm used to see Manamo in third row and she will most likely stay there forever and that's ok, but Hinano? Not contented with that. Then put some other 3rd gen member in second row then, please .___.

At least Otake, Hinano, and Manamo are pretty close in formation, so there may be some nice group shots of them in the MV~

 

I can't speak for Manamo. But Hinano position (and Mirei) is actually vital during group dance because middle is where TV viewer eyes fixated and forming impression of said group. Put a giraffe there and they will think entire line is tall girls, put a lion there and they will think entire line is lioness. Catch my drift?

We like to think formation is all about fame and popularity but in truth, it wasnt all the reason. Even I think Hinano wasn't that excellent dancer to be put in that pedestal spot tbh.

 

Formations of idol groups are based mostly on popularity, skills, pushing or sponsoring. Since Hinatazaka has no Under members management can focus more on team skills and choreography necessities. This is something Hinano does understand, if you had seen her latest blog, and she is happy and a little proud to be chosen for the 5th time as 3rd row center if you add her W-Center in DoReMi. - Personally I see formations more from a strategic position, like a battle formation or soccer formation - I wonder what Kage-chan thinks of this formation based on her soccer experience - and I think this formation is very powerful. We have a good defence, a strong midfield and a frontline which since Meimei is also in front row can dance everyone dizzy. - I noticed that in all 5 singles 3 types of songs were present and are especially good: a fun song, an emotional song and a concert song (a song where fans can good interact). I am really curious about them, also about a potential Osushi- Solo, which would be the first 2nd Gen Solo.

Ah, a fellow football fan, hello (Chelsea fan here...I'm very sorry). I remember Kage-chan mentioned liking Dortmund before...probably she meant the Klopp-era team? This was quite some time ago.

I just imagined how Pep Guardiola's idol formation would look like...that would be confusing and overly complicated, I'm sure.

I do also think there's some strategic value when it comes to the formations...you've echoed pretty much the points, I agree with them. I feel that a good formation combines a good mix of abilities + members' visual appeal that fits the tone of the song.

Maybe not everyone share my opinion, but I do appreciate that Hinatazaka46 have been using more than 1 Center so far - Mii-pan, Toshi-chan, Kosakana, and now Miku. I get it, we want the best for our Oshi member - but does being the Center every single time is really the best for her? She could be branded "godly", "rare talent" or whatever - but ultimately she is still human. Sometimes, taking a step back will enable them to come back stronger and healthier.

I approach idol groups kind of like a football team...I prefer (just my personal taste, mind you) a group with more than just a single Ace. As a card magic fan, I can tell you...even a deck of 52 cards have 4 Aces in it. I really can't invest in the idea of a Permanent Center - it's better for the longevity of a group to have a great ensemble of capable members, than just having a single "face of the group" no matter how talented that member is. It's probably just me...I don't like Messi-era Barcelona, I don't enjoy WWE with only Cena at the top...variety, after all, is the spice of life. But if anyone disagrees with my blabbering points here, that's fine too.
