@EinhanderX -- True, that. But I think they all can, if it became necessary (Techi's future may be unlimited, and might carry her beyond this group). Neru may not have a wide range of styles, but she has a style that works, it seems to me. And I'm thinking also of their ability to be spokesperson for the group. Even Pon has that ability, from what I have seen. She may not be school smart, but I think she's smart.

How could anyone dislike her? Lol. From Japanese forums I get the sense that the people who were dead-set against her being a fixed centre are softening as they see just who she really is, and how good she is at everything. Not that there still aren't a few of them around, but I feel as if there may be fewer.

Her reaction to Miyu's moving birthday letter (to talk about the group and not herself) and to being selected centre again (talking not about her nervousness but about wanting to make a good single) are just so pitch-perfect, the kind of thing a seasoned pro might say, not a 15-year-old.
