HKT48's first CM (2011.12.23 ~ 2012.01.09)

HKT48 (all 21 members) to appear on the Kyushu Railway Company's SUGOCA (smart card ticketing system for public transport in Fukuoka Prefecture and environs) winter campaign TV CM, between December 23rd, 2011 and January 9th, 2012 (to be aired in Fukuoka and Saga prefectures), about the promotion on its points system service; they'll also promote the campaign on leaflets and posters.

HKT48 introduces the members of ‘Team H’

​

AKB48’s Fukuoka-based sister group HKT48 held a press conference at HKT48 Theater on March 4th, where they introduced the members of ‘Team H’.

The 16 members of ‘Team H’ are Anai Chihiro (Captain), Ueki Nao, Kumazawa Serina, Kodama Haruka (Center), Komori Yui, Shimono Yuki, Sugamoto Yuko, Tanaka Natsumi, Taniguchi Airi, Nakanishi Chiyori, Matsuoka Natsumi, Miyawaki Sakura, Murashige Anna, Motomura Aoi, Moriyasu Madoka, and Wakatabe Haruka.

The remaining five members Abe Kyoka, Imada Mina, Eto Sayaka, Nakanishi Ayaka, and Fukagawa Maiko will participate in HKT48 as its Research Students.

HKT48 and NMB48 as regulars in new TV show [Aru aru YY Terebi]



HKT48 and NMB48 both became regulars on a new TV show called Aru aru YY Terebi and broadcasted by TVQ, a local broadcasting station from Fukuoka, HKT48's home town. The show started April 23 and is broadcasted every week from Monday to Thursday night. HKT48 will appear every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, while Tuesday will feature NMB48 together with the comedian duo Bad Boys, the hosts of AKBINGO!. Every weekday a different comedy duo from Yoshimoto appears as hosts.

The shows topic is 'subculture'. The girls are supposed to learn the 'fascination of subcultures' through several different projects. From May on the show will be filmed publicly in a theatre belonging to Kokura Aru Aru city, a kind of event mall for 'Manga, Anime & Subcultures' in Kitakyushu.

Aru aru YY Terebi is the first regular TV show for HKT48.

Surprise Annoucement on HKT48's debut from Universal Music
(HKT48ユニバーサルミュージックからのメジャーデビューがサプライズ発表)



Today (Nov 7), "HKT48" the sister group of AKB48 which is based in Hakata, Fukuoka will debut under Universal Music in 2013, it was announced as a surprise after their theater performance in Fukuoka.

"HKT48" started working in that same place from November 26, 2011. 1 year later, they now have a wide range of activities including their "HaKaTa Hyakkaten" program under NTV including CM appearances and "Mushuda Estates" tie-up.

BLT magazine will run a special feature in their August edition (cover date October 2013) to celebrate the release of HKT48's second single Melon Juice, with the 16 senbatsu members. As part of the effort to bring the 2020 Olympics to Japan, 5 members were chosen to be "cheerleaders" for 5 regions of the country. In each region, BLT will be released with that region's "cheerleader" on the cover:

Kanto Region: Sashihara Rino
Kansai Region: Tomonaga Mio
Chubu Region: Miyawaki Sakura
Fukuoka/Hiroshima: Tashima Meru
Hokkaido/Miyagi: Kodama Haruka

This magazine is scheduled for release on August 24.

Majisuka Gakuen 0 Kisarazu Rantouhen Official PR video


AKB48 TV Drama Majisuka Gakuen Extra Chapter "Majisuka Gakuen 0 Kisarazu Rantouhen" was released and uploaded on HKT48's Official Youtube Channel on October 27th.

Majisuka Gakuen 0 stars HKT48 and J-Punk Band Kishidan as the antangonists. HKT48 and Kishidan will both be doing the opening theme which is HKT48's 6th Single (HKT48 f/Kishidan - Shekarashika).

Majisuka Gakuen 0: Kisarazu Rantouhen will be aired on NTV on November 29th and will also be available on NTV and Hulu.

She scored a 97 during the event which was enough to win.
