With 2015 coming to a close. I figure we could do the stage48 yearly tradition (recently for all of the groups). Also the first time for this group. Do wonder what you guys are hoping for NGT48's first full year. So what are your hopes, fears, and Predictions for 2016 with NGT48?
Hopes: -Katomina becomes the NGT Senbatsu rep (except SSK singles) -Katomina's first rank exceeds Sayanee & Sakura's first rank -an awesome 1st single -3 singles per year -better HS sales -anime tie-ins -managed by another management like NMB & Nogi -a good top3 formation cause Noe doesn't look promising (my ideal will be Kato, Takakura, Nakai) -a new NGT48 variety show (i'm imagining an Ebi-show kinda show with a Majijo twist lol) -NGT48 BECOMES THE NEW WAROTA OF 48GROUP (the anisong group of the 48group) Fears -NGT become too dependent on Rie & Yuki -Katomina doesn't rank at next year SSK -a bad 1st single -becomes like HKT all over again -5 NGT members gets an AKB kennin -Katomina gets a gori push in AKB Predictions -Katomina becomes the highest ranking homegrown NGT member -Katomina kennin in AKB -Rikatin & Mahohon ranks in SSK -Katomina gets a gori push in AKB -NGT48 1st AnniCon -2nd Generation -Team NIII formation at March
Since it's the first time that i follow a group since it's born, well, let's see what i see: Hopes: First Single announced this year!!! (Remember, HKT didn't have their debut single until 2013, one and half year after...) Their first single end being so much different form other groups, that they made NGT completely different to the others. Katomina Ranks in SSK!!! Fears: HKT beginnings again... No one aside Kitarie and Yukirin ranks A lot of girls get stressed and leave too early. Predictions Second gen announced. A member ranks in SSK (maybe not Katomina) NGT gets her first TV program and the MC is Kitarie
Hopes Katomina ranks in SSK (or another NGT48 Homegrown Member ranks in SSK) Katomina enters AKB48's senbatsu (AKB48's 44th) NGT48's 1st and 2nd Single NGT48's 2nd Generation Team NIII Formation NGT48 1st TV Show Fears Begins like how HKT48 did (Don't want NGT48's 1st Single debuting in 2017) Only Rie and Yukirin rank NGT48 members have a kennin (Don't need that yet). Predictions NGT48 2nd Generation An NGT48 Homegrown Member ranks in SSK. NGT48 1st TV Show (Rie Co-Hosting) NGT48 1st Single in the Summer with 2nd Single in the Fall. Katomina becomes the NGT48 Ace. NGT48 Solo Concerts announced at the end of the Year (with it beginning in 2017).

Hopes: - Nakai pulls a Sakura in SSK 2016 and becomes the sole/highest ranking homegrown member. - Debut single released during the year. - AkiP surprises everybody and gives them an original stage for their theater debut. Fears: - Yukirin. Yukirin everywhere. (I doubt this will happen though) - Their theater debut is postponed again. Predictions: - Debut single in late 2016. - Katomina and/or Okappa and Noe get kennin positions.
Hopes: - Okappa ace!! - First single - Theater stage has a good design like HKT's - Promotion/push of girls continues on twitter where all girls get featured regularly - No AKB kennins or kennin to AKB - Formation of NIII - NGT continues to get good costumes - Nakai first AKB senbatsu rep - Mushikago not a one shot unit Fears: - Katomina pushed too hard/many fans rally around Katomina & don't look at other girls (already seeing this sigh) - 2nd gen announced before 1st gen well established - Yukirin keeps her kennin No predictions yet... Maybe add them later
Hopes: -1st single not only being strong but creating a good image for NGT -my oshis get into senbatsu! -at least 2 homegrown NGT members rank in Senbatsu Sousenkyo Fears: -They depend on Kitarie and Yukirin too much: Th homegrown members should learn from them, not be overshadowed by them. And Yukirin should at most be second row in senbatsus -They get HKT-ed and don't get their own single for another 2 years -Kennins are handed out: this group is too young to already have kennins! Predictions: -NGT48's first original song appears as a B-Side on the 43rd single -Katomina ranks in, preferably top half of Next Girls -NGT48's first single released, earliest time being a late summer single, with Katomina as center -NGT TV show announced, to air in late summer to coincide with launch of single; preferably with a month's headstart to have more time for promotion of the single and the members themselves Since this is my first sister group starting after I joined the fandom, I really want them to do well for 2016

Good Night and Happy New Year! Hopes: - I want a complete and eclectic Team NIII - The homegrown girls rank at SSK (maybe in June or July) - A different center for NGT48 first single (I like Kato Minami -san but I love that another girl could reach this goal), even I can include to Nishigata Marina-san as my favorite center. - The girls are going to appear in more CM, singles of AKB48 and photobooks - More ambassadors for Niigata products (because they deserve it!) - One girl or two for the kennin in AKB48! (Well this is a BIG Fear too!) Fears: - I won't see Team NIII until 2017 - Big annual shuffle for the entire 48 groups! This means that will be girls from another 48 groups for the kennin: I will include Team 8 girls from Niigata and nearest prefectures: Sato Shiori - san, Hashimoto Haruna -san, Chou Kurena - san, Hidaritomo Ayaka -san, Kondo Moeri - san, Hattori Yuna -san and all girls from Kanto Region and other that I cannot include, you can differ with me about this point. - Kitahara Rie -san and Kashiwagi Yuki - san will be the centers for the original single and the next singles and the entire group will depend of them! - Neither homegrown girl climb rank at SSK - Second auditions for NGT48 Predictions: To be realistic: - Big shuffle - Kato Minami will be center for the first single - NIII for January, February or March - More CMs, photobooks, DVDs - Some of the girls will continue to appear in AKB48 singles (I include Kashiwagi -san and Kitahara - san) - More ambassadors. Nogi don't have a SSK and I think their group feeling (?) is better than 48 groups) - no Kennins!!!! - Yukirin and Rie becomes the good senpai who support them and push them but they are at the back - good profil photos ^^ - Team NIII formation - Yukirn Rie in 2nd row - please rotate the centers Fears: - only Yukirin and Rie - Kennins - they only care about rank and popularity - bad 1st single - single release in 2017 - Katomine becomes a push like Sakura - scandals - graduations - only Katomina center (hope they won't do this like SKE, NMB and AKB) Predictions: - Katomina becomes Center and Ace - Katomina Kennin and mega push - participate in Summer single - 2nd Gen Sent with Taptalk
Hopes: - Katomina becomes ace and face of group - Interesting own show, something like Hyakkaten would be nice - Katomina+1 to summer AKB single - 1st single with 200k+ sales at least - Katomina ranks in SSK - More cute costumes please Fears: - Not Katomina in center - Not Katomina ranks - Not Katomina in AKB single - Katomina's scandal - Scandals - more AKB's kennins (I really doubt it may happen btw) - 2nd gen (too early) - Bad 1st single My favourites never rank high in SSK, get frontline positions or push... That's why I do really hope Katomina will not fail.
Hopes: - Management pushes other girls besides Katomina to avoid a huge popularity gap between her and the rest of the group which would be impossible to even out later on - 2nd generation auditions announced in the first half of the year, debut before the end of 2016 - Team G formed at the beginning 2017 at the latest, without a shuffle (only ori KKS and 2nd gen + eventual draft) to avoid the situation from other groups where KKS go unpromoted for 3+years and never get opportunities post promotion - SashiKita Gassen to continue featuring KKS, and not just Otaki, and gives them a bit more time to talk - Other opportunities for KKS to put themselves out there? There are some gorgeous adult members among them, so maybe gravure? - NGT variety appearances to focus on members with variety potential - 1st single to feature all members - better SNS than the mobile site photolog, G+ or twitter for older members - better stages - Mushi Kago to get at least one PV in the upcoming AKB singles so Okappa and Tsugumin can benefit from it - Yukirin doesn't stay too long Fears: - KKS promotion takes too long, some graduate before getting promoted - KKS get no opportunities and sit around with nothing to do for years (like Nogizaka 2nd gen trainees) - Management pushes only Katomina I'm bad at predicitions, so I'm not going to do them.
Hopes : A very good song that leave a good impersonate for NGT First single at Summer Kitarie 2nd row, Yukirin leaves after 1st single Awsome TV show No fears or predictions though
Hopes -At least 2 girls rank in ssk -Great 1st single with a classy vibe ---- WITHIN THE YEAR (I'M LOOKING AT YOU HKT) -or even a single no matter how good or bad... -1st gen gets well established and a pretty equal amount of pushing going on (except for the top 5 or so who get a bit more) -at least 2 girls in summer single -interesting variety show with new concept (for a 48g show anyway) -Yukirin ends kennin within 6 months or so Fears -Yukirin ends up staying a long time -no rank in ssk -horrible management (they look really promising so far so this isn't really a huge worry) -no single -kennins for everyone! -Katomina becomes Meru #2 -eternal center Predictions -Rika ranks highest in ssk (I'll be pulling for her ) -2nd gen
