Let's start our usual end-of-the-year thread. First of all, my impression of 2021. Spoiler I couldn't find any Nogizaka song that enter my playlist. All releases this year mostly are good, but I just didn't feel the sparks like the old Nogi song. Worst of all, Under songs, are also the same. Usually, I rely on the Under song whenever the title song or coupling song is not my preference. But, I didn't find Under songs that have that kind of power. this year Scandals. Other than that, it was a quite good year with so many projects for Nogi's members. +++ My hopes, fears, and prediction for 2022 Hopes Corona pandemic is over Good title song and, especially, Under song, Rena, Yuna, or Runa enter Senbatsu, Interesting + Funny variety show for 5ki. Fears Bananaman graduation Young member graduation (3ki and 4ki) Prediction Yamazaki Rena graduation Airdrop center from 5ki Another "normal" title song/Under song All 1ki and 2ki leave Nogi

Spoiler: 2021 Hopes: A single that will surpass the (for me) already awesome 26th single - Can't say the last two did Of course, 26th single do very well - In the middle of the pandemic, it did well I think Kaki center - 28th single Seira to Senbatsu next single - Yes, 27th single A Senbatsu return to any of these three: Higuchi, Kitano, Suzuki - 27th for Chima, 28th for Ki & Ayane Saw the news about AKBingo's return so I wish for a Nogibingo comeback or any equivalent show with Ijiri. Mousou cameraman ought to meet 4th gen - Forget it, Star Tanjo is the show for me. A full year with Ikuchan still around - The exact whole year Again, like last year, I want to see a unit with any combination of Ikuta/Kubo/Kaki/Hayakawa/Endo - Thank goodness before Ikuta announced graduation, my no.1 of 3 generation in one unit More outside job for Kubo - it's coming If it's not too much to ask, some love for Rena and Junna before they decide to call it quits. Like can they W-center the next 2nd gen song? - not for Junna, but at least Rena became Under center Hori gets a well-deserved graduation concert - only what's allowed with the current situation. Exclusive model - Kaki, Hayakawa, Ayame, Sato Rika - Nah Fear: Shinuchi remains the only 2nd gen inside Senbatsu until she graduates - Thankfully it didn't happen Ikuchan graduation announcement middle of this year - Off by few months but I should also be thankful she finished the whole year Prediction: Album - 10th Anniversary Best Album Another 4th gen song centered by one of the 5 additional girls, probably Runa - No more for 2021 Rei will stay Senbatsu, Mayu will be dropped, enter Hayakawa - I was wrong with Mayu, all are now perma-Senbatsu All 4th gen non-Senbatsu members will be part of UG - 28th single The usual PB releases mostly 3rd/4th gen - Nope, all graduating seniors 5th gen audition - Yup Obviously, more graduations: Matsumura, Takayama, Ikuta probably announce before the year ends and 2nd gens - 27th single, 28th single, Best Album and 3 2nd gen in between (Junna, Miria & Ranze and waiting for Kitano) Shinuchi will stay until she turns 30+ - 30 + Hopes: I just hope Kubo will finally center. Spoiler: Firstly 2021 Hopes: - 26th single is doing well despite corona. -> At first I was disappointed, but it still sold better than the other 2 singles, so all things considered I guess it did pretty okay - Yamashita is getting more recognized publicly. -> Not too drastic but yeah she's getting more recognized this year - Kubo is getting more singing gigs. -> Not too sure about this, it seems to me that she's getting more talk related gigs instead - Renka fukujin. -> Nope - Momoko getting PB. -> Hell NO - Kii return to senbatsu. -> yes, looooongg overdue, but with 28th single finally Fears: - 2nd gens become totally sidelined after Miona's grad. -> at first looks so, although it gets better with 28th single - More 2nd gen graduation. -> Unfortunately yes: Miona, Junna, Miria, Ranze, Maichun... - 3rd gen first graduation. -> Momo-chan, this the hardest for me to accept this year.... Prediction: - Ringo, Iku graduation -> both yes - 4th gen center -> yes, Endo and Kakki Hopes: - Better acting gigs for Yamashita - Reno for Under center and then senbatsu - 3rd gen new center, Yoda or Kubo - 5th gen to have a good singer like Ikuchan - Nogi to have more live singing opportunities - Interesting 5th gens members Predictions: - Remaining 1st and 2nd gen grads - 5th gen airdrops - New shows for 5th gens Fears: - 3rd gens getting more sidelines with 5th gen arrival - More 3rd gen grads - Bananaman grads
nothing bad about 2022 . all of then are gone .so what happen is what happen. i guess sony will find somebody that lookalike maiyan , hori soon may be new hope will pop up in gen 5 or 6

Hopes: - a really good 5th gen with few but talented members and NO FILLERS. - a hit song that gains GP attention - Yoshida Ayano Christie, Mukai Hazuki, Ito Riria and Nakamura Reno graduations (with 5th joining the group some of these girls need to leave). - high quality singles Fears: - a weak 5th gen with too many average/ugly/boring girls - a grad announcement from a 3ki top member - Nogi kouhai can't keep up with graduating 1st gen aces force and the group will lose more and more fans. Predictions: - Asuka/Mizuki w/center 29th single which will be a cool song like Influencer. - 5th gen center airdrop for 30th single - Akimoto graduating at 5th gen center airdrop single and Umezawa and Kubo becoming Captain and vice-captain - Asuka grad announcement at 10th birthday live in may at Nissan Stadium and graduating at the end of 2022 - Shibata Yuna, Yumiki Nao will become new senbatsu members and Tamami will make a senbatsu comeback. - Apart of Higuchi Hina and Suzuki Ayane all 1st and 2nd gen members will be gone or have announced graduation by the end of the 2022.
