To be honest, I think Hoshino Minami is among the cutest even if you compare her not just with her fellow teammate but with AKB/SKE/NMB/HKT as well. It is to shake her hand that I went to Osaka on Apr 29 for the Nogizaka's mini-live and hand-shaking event !!

But she is so quiet and seems not really knowing how she should behave as an idol in public appearances. I am sad to see her dropped from Shichifukujin but I could see it coming for her~~~~~~~ Oh well.....

Minami will become the first Nogizaka46 member to appear in a solo CM! Furthermore, it's a CM commissioned by the government so this is a huge deal for her.

This little girl is giving off the vibes we've gotten from SKE48's Ishida Anna.
She's such a beauty and the type of girl everyone wants as a younger sister.
And that beautiful 24 carat forehead just screams for itself.
However, as we have experienced with Ishida Anna, it seems like she's a really great poster girl in the beginning, but slowly fades into the background.
For the record, I'm still rooting for Ishida Anna and I'm also looking forward to see this star, Hoshino Minami glitter in this group.

She used to seem so.... bland and wallpaper-ish to me. Cute but almost see through and how she couldn't seem to really talk at all was kinda creepy (this, coming from a person that isn't exactly talkative and values silence) . I couldn't even find her resilience in that tickle challenge admirable because she was just falling in line with the blank doll I saw her as. But... then as I was watching the Hashire Bicycle! videos and when I realized I was watching her video I went "oh, boy..." and prepared myself for the worst (ok well, not the absolute worst since Nagashima accomplished that hands down) and... the moment I got the "idea" of what she was doing my interest piqued and then when the bby started crying a switch flicked. I haven't seen every single Nogizaka related thing ever and I'm behind on Doko so it's probably happened before without my knowledge but until then I hadn't seen any type of emotion like that from her before.... and my goodness, I couldn't stand seeing her in tears. ;____;

But yeah, since seeing that I've gained more regard for her and have tried to understand her more... and found that she's really just an incredibly shy little Nogibaby. Now, I can't get enough of her cuteness and I even find her quietness to be an endearing trait and Hoshimina is now just another one of the many darlings I love in this group.

Overall it was a great year for Minami, being in the front row of 4 out of 5 Nogi singles

She casted for NHK's advert, and recently also for "Kaichou wa Maid sama" special 3D version

She's made a legend of herself in various TV programs

Pretty much every Nogi member wants a piece of her

And lets not forget she's still growing up fast!
