How to gain access to the depot.

Many members have recently noticed the build up of one line, spammy posts around the forum. Even though we're not saying ALL one line posts are so people can get into the depot faster, we can assume most were. Many members (and some openly admitted) to posting anything in rapid succession just for depot access. Honestly, I can't blame them, but when it was making the forum so messy, something had to be done.

After hearing many members opinions on changing the depot access rules, we decided to go with Eques's idea of post rating. By using a rating sytem, members must contribute to the forum with good quality posts, rather than just posting to reach a limit. Access to the depot is now a reward, not a goal.

The rating sytem is completely hidden from all members, so as to not cause any conflict. Every staff member can now give your posts a thumbs up, or thumbs down. We will not rate EVERY one of your posts, just those that deserve a rating.

Posts that will get you a thumbs up are what we consider 'good quality' posts. This can be defined in many ways, but what we are basically looking out for are all helpful or well thought out posts. Any sort of contribution to the forum will get you a thumbs up. If you work really hard, you can be in the depot after only 10 posts.

Breaking ANY of our rules will get you a thumbs down.

A reputation of 10 will get you access. Like I said before, you could be in the depot after only 10 posts, if you are working hard to contribute.
